New York Comic Con Passes

So, Aleks and I talked with the guy in charge of New York Comic Con. And by talk I mean emailed.   You see with Hurricane Sandy that has obviously hurt us in many ways, especially financially. (Not to mention the unlivable house.)   So after explaining the situation, he authorized the most awesome thing ever.   Two four day passes for us. For free. Which helps us financially and it gives us an incredible weekend of happiness and fun to look forward too.   Which is something we need so badly.   W

Bionicle: The Game

I must like pain. I have Bionicle: The Game on three different systems.   Three of them.   PC, PS2, and now Gamecube.   You see a week ago, Gamestop had used copies without boxes for less than $2 each. I bought one.   I LIKE PAINNNNNNNN

Sandy 3/10/13 Update

Yay, it is time for a Hurricane Sandy update. Unfortunately that is where the good news pretty much ends. As you all know we’ve applied for FEMA and for insurance. Insurance is one huge argument that we are dealing with and they are only covering the house Aleks and I live in. FEMA will also only cover us for that one house.   We have nothing coming in for the house that Aleks’ grandfather lives in. This is the main reason we are raising money and have been to a handful of town meetings to get t

Mother

So as a few people know my mother went into the hospital a few weeks back. It wasn't very good and we were all worried.   Her condition got a lot better and as of today she is in a really good nursing home.   During that period I asked a friend known as Cammiluna(she has an awesome webcomic and is an all around awesome person) to make an image that I could print out and send to my mother.   I chose a theme of the Legend of Zelda because my mother got me into Zelda. It was something we bonded ove

House Rip Out

Gallery for a few more images.   I’ve owed you all an update on this for awhile. We got the final ripout of our house done and… well it is freaking depressing.   We also have heaters and dehumidifiers to try and dry the place out, but with the weather how it is, they aren’t very effective. We are trying to save the subfloor, but I’m not sure if we can. We are also working on permits and so much more information about programs to get money. We also want to try to get the house raised to prevent t

Trainer Kohaku Appeared!

Okay so I've been making Pokemon trainers and I think I made one that I am happy with. Although it is likely to change because I'm indecisive.   Normal:   Bonus crossdressing version:     I've made a few more that are on my majhost. Any more that I make will also be uploaded there.   If you want to make your own(and share it) you can do so here and here. The second link is the newer version.

10 Dreamiest Male Video Game Characters #1

Alright, time for #1 on our dreamy list of fabulous male video game characters. This one shouldn't surprise anyone who knows me as it is....   #1 - Link - Legend of Zelda Series   Anyone who knows me, knows that I love Link. Link is amazing, strong, handsome, fabulous, cute, sweet. I think the reason he has had such a profound affect on me is that he literally was my first video game crush. Link is just simply amazing. I need to go kidnap Link and have my own entourage of every single Link ever

10 Dreamiest Male Video Game Characters 5-2

Okay, this was supposed to be up much sooner... but I was at a birthday party for a friend. Then I was messing around on twitter... so I got distracted. And because it is 3:30 AM I'm not typing huge things for all of them. XD   Anyway to continue the list.   #5 - Neku Sakuraba - The World Ends With You   Okay so clearly I have a thing for animated guys too... but I don't care! Neku may be a bit mean at first, but he does warm up and learn a lot, as a character I really like him. As I'm sure you

10 Dreamiest Male Video Game Characters 10-6

I had to differentiate the title from my crack series.   This time... they will be broken down in three articles. This is a more serious list of the dreamiest and hottest male video game characters. You get pretty boys because I'm gay and I like pretty boys. I will say that I hate the general strong beefy type of guys most modern games have. I don't like that at all, also... I hate all the facial hair. So... this list is my personal list and most of the guys on it are pretty bishonen. Verrrry pr

12/12/12 Concert for Sandy Relief

First off, we are still looking for donations as we were hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.   Second off, a ton of channels and networks are airing the concert, you can make a donation to the Robin Hood Relief Fund on the official website and you can watch the concert at the link as well.   Thirdly, do not donate to the American Red Cross. The millions that they have received has only gone to watered down stew. They have like no blankets and we know from a friend who volunteered that they actually sai

Top 10 HAWTest Male Nintendo Characters Number 10-6

First thing is first, this is a crack entry and is not meant to be taken seriously.   Second, I love all the ladies, but I'm not the best judge with HAWT ladies because I'm very, very gay. So you get a list of fictional Nintendo guys.   Third, if anyone wants me to make a serious list after this, just ask. Although that list would be a lot harder to make.   On with the list!   #10 - Escargoon - Kirby Series Look at that magnificent shell. Truly the HAWTest snail ever.     #9 - Kamek - Super Mar

Paper Mario: Sticker Star

As I don't have anything new to report on the Permit situation, I'm going to post something a bit different today. After all, this isn't the doom and gloom blog.   I downloaded Paper Mario: Sticker Star a while ago and I've been pondering how I've felt about it ever since I beat it. This is kind of a spoiler free minireview.   Sticker Star isn't a bad game... but it isn't a great game compared to the other games in the series. I like Paper Mario: Sticker Star, but it could be so much better.   T

Permits

So, we've been in the process of getting a permit to take down the small bungalow. It hasn't been pleasant.   It should have been an easy process, yet at each turn the town keeps throwing new things at us. The house doesn't have asbestos or any other hazardous materials yet we are being given a run around on it. >_<   The bureaucracy of it all sucks.   I would like to also take a small moment here to thank Jedi Master J. or VI. Zexion (as he is currently called) for his sheer amount of don

A bit of relaxation

So, having internet back has been great. However when the hurricane hit we all forgot about something we ordered and paid for.   We forgot until it arrived at a house that we can't live at as we were continuing the clean up. So we set it up at our rental house and finally had some rest and relaxation for the first time since Hurricane Sandy hit.   I must say, the Wii U has been a ton of much needed fun for us. (If anyone wants to add me on Miiverse my username is Kohakuchan)   Other than that, A
