Yeah, they were up for a few minutes today, but "the Man" wanted them taken down. Luckily, SPIRIT snagged them before they vanished. The first word is their English name and the second word is their Pokedex species in Italian... for reasons I won't go into. Enjoy. :)

Pignite? Wasn’t that one of the fan made nicknames for Tepig before his English name was revealed? If so, I find this humorous in some fashion.

 

Overall, I think they did a fairly good job with the starters’ names. Particularly, I like the conceited sounding-ness of Snivy’s family. Servine makes me think “you just got served!” :P And Serperior, oh how much more conceited can you get? :D

 

Tepig’s family is a delightful set of clever puns, plain and simple.

 

I also like how they stuck with the “-wott” ending scheme for Oshawott’s family. ^_^ It almost sounds like an honorific, especially considering the Japanese/samurai-motif in their designs.

 

Also, I find Klink -> Klang -> Klinkang hilariously clever.

Eelektrik is also very punny. :)

Oh hey my contract also seems to have a clause that states that I can smite my players for correcting and then spoofing me. Especially ones who disappeared at various points during their on-going megaplot. A lot. How 'bout that. 8D

And I fail to see what is wrong with Magneton. I don't do competitive battling, whose rules hardly even apply in the RPG, and he's served me well every time I've used him in the games, so... yeah. Plus his name sounds far better than Ducklett. Or Deerling. :3
