PON-

Oh, wait, that was last entry.

Okay, so, I read. What did I read? Well...

Full Metal Alchemist Vol. 1-26 by Hiromu Arakawa:

Great series, definitely recommend. Also tearing my face off waiting for the last volume. DX

"Farmer Giles of Ham", "Smith of Wooton Major", and The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien:

The first two, as little more than short stories, were enjoyable little reads. Go ahead and read them if you want to smile and chuckle some.

The latter was very well-written, if a fantasy history book. "Valaquenta", "Ainulindale", "Akallabeth", and "Of the Rings of Power and the Third Age", and an explanatory letter in the beginning - additions to Quenta Silmarillion - are all informative and enjoyable. Quenta Silmarillion itself was also both of these things. Thus, I can recommend this for people who want to know about Middle Earth and the world around it.

Song of the Ovulum and I Know why the Angels Dance by Bryan Davis:

Bryan Davis, one of my favorite authors, has begun the sequel to a sequel rather well with Song of the Ovulum. Story and characters are compelling and cool, if annoying at times. It might be a bit confusing for readers who haven't read the eight previous books (also great, BTW: Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire series), but there is a summary in the back.

The latter - a serious, religious book - can, for the most part, not be discussed here. However, if you are a Christian, I very heartily recommend it. It gives very nice insight about heaven, even if it is technically speculation.

The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling:

The arguments about this series are numerous, whether simply about it or from a religious perspective. But, as it is fiction and contains no explicit sex scenes or the like, I read them. Having read them, I can say that I enjoy them, and would recommend them to others who now they are fiction and nothing else.

Also (one of) MY FAVORITE CHARACTER(s) DIED BY FALLING THROUGH CURTAIN.

WHAT THE HECK.

However many volumes of One Piece by Eichiro Oda:

From the beginning of the Alabasta arc to near the end of the Skypeia arc. If I've never said it before, I'll say it now: I <3 this series.

Also read, in Shonen Jump, the chapters right before and the chapter after the time skip. <3

...

So yeah, that's what I read over the summer. I feel like something is slipping my brain, but eh, whatever.
