I'll never understand why people limit themselves to mainstream bands..

especially in metal

like

the people who only listen to Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch and Korn

Disturbed is decent

FFDP has one or two songs I admittedly find entertaining

but like

listening to those bands

and those types of bands only

basically having anything other than a passing interest in them

is like..

being a starving man with a table full of delicious food in front of him

who only eats an olive or two and leaves the rest

they're so much else that's so much better, and it's right there if you just go for it and give it a try

that's a pretty clever analogy isn't it?

I should use that again sometime

instead of eating the Disturbed olive or the Five Finger Death Shrimp, a person could be enjoying the Woods of Steak or the Chicken Theater!
