Here's how you pronounce the names of each and every one of my characters (who have non-English names):

Arkrak: Ark-rack

Darylhii: Da-rill-hee or Dar-rill-ee

Septimus: Sep-ti-mus

Naona: Na-oh-na

Rannin: Ran-nin

Aronis Ril: Aa-ron-is Rill or A-rone-is Rill

Uyism: You-yism or You-ism.

Yarre: Yar-reh

Quada: Kwaa-dah

Lasinia: La-sin-ee-a

Soulgain: Soul-gain

Atonal: Atone-al

Hubertus: Hu-bert-us

Elysi: Ee-lie-see

Vaisaga: Vy-saga

Iegasa: Eye-gasa

Jaliax: Jaa-li-ax

Sounds kinda like 'You just got Simon'd!'

 

Anyway (All caps denotes emphasis on that syllable).....

 

Zealokan - Zee-ah-LOH-kan

Payiges - Pay-EE-ges

Aki-Nui - AHKEE-NOOEE

Xanev - ZAH-nehv

Endriin - EHN-dreen

What's the point of this? People type the names, not say them.

 

It's for the podcast, I believe.

 

Anyway, because all of my characters are currently frozen, there isn't much point in posting my characters here, I'm afraid.

KNI = Kay-En-Eye

 

Sucogu = Sue-Coh-Goo

Kol Uskey = Cole Uss-Key

Kinika = Kin-Eye-Ka

Kuyre = Cure-Ee

 

That's all for now. Those are generally the ones people mix up.

I read most things "aloud" in my head, and so it's annoying when I don't know the pronunciation. :)

Madrihk: MAD-rikk

Mevi: MEVV-ih

Naru: NAH-rue

Ferrin: (FERR-inn)

Mita: MII-tah

 

Nothing complicated.
