I'd do that- just go to Brickfair one day and Bronycon the next.

BrickFair > Any other convention, easily. But your idea of visiting for a day does some cool, especially if you can do it with other pony / Lego fans! Hope it works out for ya!

That could mega-interfere with school. Also, Brickfair is just better than BrickCon.

Part of the issue is that I can't drive. Which means I'd have to either hitch a ride with someone or navigate at least two different metros (which would at least double the amount of time it takes to get both there and back). I figure if any other BZPowerites (or AFOLs of any variety) wanted to join in and at least one of them could drive, carpooling might be an option.

I only prefer BrickCon because it's a closer environment as it's a tighter group of AFOLs. I actually know quite a few of them by first-name.

The other personal perk there for me is I live so close 8D

I'd rather go to BrickFair. Although I am a Bronie but I would never miss a chance to go to BrickFair.
