Tilius Posted December 5, 2012 NINTENDO LEGO LICENSE CONFIRMED. Though in all seriousness....it seems quite possible now. Hm. - Tilius Quote
Kohaku Posted December 6, 2012 I need Lego Iwata. And Miyamoto. And Reggie. And everyone at Nintendo's Treehouse. I must have them all. As Lego. Quote
Lyichir Posted December 6, 2012 NINTENDO LEGO LICENSE CONFIRMED. Though in all seriousness....it seems quite possible now. Hm. - TiliusSome Nintendo licenses would be easier to get than others. In particular, the Mario Kart license is held by K'nex, so that might preclude Lego from doing any Mario sets (as much as I'd like to see a Bowserfig that used the giant troll arms and hands). But it could bode well for things like the Cuusoo Zelda project. It'd be interesting to see how much the Lego video games have helped to raise Lego's profile in Japan. I know it's traditionally not been one of their strongest markets (which I've read is because building toys are seen primarily as toys for early childhood over there). But surely games like Lego Star Wars have served to elevate public perception of the brand. Quote

It's quite clear now that LEGO has at least some relations with Nintendo thanks to LEGO City Undercover being Nintendo-exclusive. All we can do is hope. That piranha plant is amazing. I knooooooow right. It's a completely plausible design too, beyond the spots. Quote
Peach 00 Posted December 7, 2012 The possibilites - think of them all! Legend of Zelda minifigures...ohmygosh a LEGO Hyrule Castle! o_o And a Princess Peach Castle! Seriously, people, it's time to start a petition to convince LEGO to make a deal with Nintendo for LEGO Nintendo sets. That would get me back into LEGO. :B Quote
Canama Posted December 9, 2012 That and/or Valve sets I would never have any money left in my pockets again Quote
Chols Posted December 10, 2012 Now I want to see a LEGO Gabe Newell. Can someone just make this happen please Quote
