I was off BZP and the Internet/computer in general all day yesterday. It's good to take a break from computers and computer-related things for a day or two every now and then. At least it's good for me, anyway.
But I doubt any of you care about that, so instead I'll talk about what I'm sure everyone is dying to know: What I got for Christmas!
Let's list them in the order I unwrapped them:
-The Complete Sherlock Holmes. This is a two volume boxet containing all four novels and fifty-six short stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. I don't intend to read all of the stories; just the ones I haven't read yet, which is actually a surprisingly small amount, considering I recognize most of the titles in the first volume
-The Mark of Athena, by Rick Riordan. I actually read and finished this book yesterday. I'd say it's even better than the last two Heroes of Olympus books. Hopefully The House of Hades, coming out next year, will be even better.
-Yu-Gi-Oh! Structure Deck: Realm of the Sea Emperor. I added a handful of the cards from this deck to my Water Deck. Moray of Greed in particular is a card I have been wanting to get for a while. Glad I got it.
-And $75. This is good.
Also, my oldest brother got Metroid: Other M as a present yesterday. Samus's inner narration is so bad it's hilarious, although the game itself looks fun enough.
