Whoa, BZP. Entry posted by Xaeraz January 29, 2013 1,262 views Share
 Followers 1 Why's the top bar suddenly glued to the top of my browser window? And why is it hiding behind the New Entry stuff?
Xaeraz Posted January 29, 2013 Because it is a change on a website that negatively impacts the experience for me, due to it slicing a good two lines of text off if it should ever obscure them, which it doubtlessly will. Quote Link to comment
Athmos Posted January 29, 2013 I've noticed that too.... It's annoying as heck on an iPod. Quote Link to comment

Also, it prevents me from zooming in to properly click on my profile from my phone. ~B~ Quote Link to comment
Chols Posted January 29, 2013 I like it but it fixed position makes it hard to navigate when I put chrome in half-size. Not that I expect accommodation for that because that's below 1024 px wide but oh well. Quote Link to comment
Franz Joseph Haydn Posted January 29, 2013 I personally think it's a fantastic browsing helper, if not a bit troublesome on the phones and iPods. You young whippersnappers and your fancy technology Quote Link to comment
Bambi Posted January 29, 2013 Oh wait, now I see. If you hadn't said anything, I never would have noticed. Quote Link to comment
Nara Posted January 29, 2013 I like it. I'll probably still be scrolling up for no reason, though. =P Quote Link to comment
Than the Moa Posted January 29, 2013 It should no longer cut behind anything and the mobile experience should be moderately approved. As a reminder though guys there is a mobile version of IPB for a reason. You shouldn't expect a reasonable level of support using the desktop version on a mobile device due to the wide variety of resolutions and various issues with mobile browsers. Quote Link to comment
Xaeraz Posted January 29, 2013 It's still cutting behind content blocks for me, at least. Quote Link to comment
Than the Moa Posted January 29, 2013 That should be fixed as well. It had to do with the content blocks in your own blog being movable so they're set to be over everything. Quote Link to comment

As for not using the mobile version of IPB, it refused to let me add BZP as a community, so I've been unable to use it, unfortunately. ~B~ Quote Link to comment

Let me check if I can just enable the mobile skin from the skin selector. Quote Link to comment
