I followed your older work a few years back, and will continue to do so should you make more. Funny, I ended up helping in a collaborative universe with a bunch of friends where bonkles were human, too. It was a lot more fun just as a universe (what with removing gender limitations and such) than the canon was in the end.

(also, as an aside, I highly approve of your avatar. Janeway is best captain/Voyager is best show)

I spent the last eight years crafting my own Bionicle fanfic universe one fic at a time (though it adheres far more closely to canon than yours does, from what you've said). Definitely a lot of fun, even though keeping track of the details and such is a bit of a pain at times.

Nothing to be ashamed of in imagining the characters as humans. I had my own human BIONICLE universe back in the day though it was never as creative or fleshed-out as yours is.

And yeah, BIONICLE's return has me excited as well. I was never one of the folks who was waiting at the edge of my seat for BIONICLE to return because I knew how much care and effort it would take to actually bring it back. So the fact that we now know it is coming back is that much more amazing!
