So I read a story that took place in in a restaurant in Chengdu, the capital of Central China's Sichuan Province. A customer found a dead cockroach in his salad and complained to his waitress. She responded by saying "It's just a cockroach" and that it was normal to find them in restaurants. The customer then agrued that if it was so normal that she should eat it.
And then she ate it, to the shock of everyone in the restaurant.
The customer said nothing in response to this. He just paid his bill and left.
The restaurant owner apologized for the incident and said that the waitress was getting a pay cut for the forseeable future because of this.
People on other sites have said she should've gotten a pay raise instead of a pay cut. I personally think she should've gotten a write up or something like that, but not a pay cut. But that is just me.
