I just thought it would be interesting to say that I have a partial collection of the elements of the periodic table. At this point, I have about 30.

 

I'll post a picture of my collection here after Christmas.

 

Does anyone else here do something like this?

youre gonna run into a bit of trouble at some point. the xkcd What If? book details the effects but suffice to say there are some elements you should not collect unless you want to experience the effects of intense radiation.

Yeah, I don't want to collect all of the elements. Just the ones that are sufficiently safe. I'm not after any plutonium or astatine. :P
