Does anyone play it?

I'm an okay player, I started a few years ago but never really played all that much. Currently I'm working on a blue/white control deck, and I'm trying to find a good price for the planeswalker featured in my avatar.

Yup. Currently playing mostly pauper on MTGO, but I also have a cube in paper for when my friends and I want to draft. It's just about pauper as well, haha =P

Yeah, I really need to look into other formats. Basically all I do is some casual Modern with a few buddies, but I'm considering getting a precon Commander deck.

Yeah, Commander is a ton of fun in the right playgroup. Especially if you use a point system like Canadian highlander or if your playgroup is too cheap to buy all the super expensive cards. =P

Well, I don't think that will be a problem. No one has a lot of cash to spend, and the only mythics I have are some lame land cards. :P

Good! To be honest, Magic, to me, is most fun on a budget. Not just filling up your deck with Eldrazi and fish just makes it a whole lot more fun. I dunno, I also almost exclusively play with singleton decks in formats that aren't singleton because it makes the decks harder to make good. Lol, maybe I'm just a masochist who also doesn't have the money to blow on a game like this. haha

(also, what lame mythic lands? =P)

E: oops forgot about the censor system. Man, I was away for longer than I thought xD

Yeah, I have quite a few cards, but I treasure all of them. Whenever I open packs, I always appreciate the commons and don't just go right to the rares. It just takes a lot of the fun out of it.

I have an Ugin's Nexus and a Maze's End. Technically, I also have the Niv-Mizzet and Jarad mythics from the Izzet/Golgari Duel Deck, but I don't consider those mythic "rares" because you're guaranteed them with every copy.

I like the way you think! *thumbs up*

I didn't play when Gatecrash came out and everything, but I always have wanted to make a gatedeck for Maze's End. It's just so ridiculously silly to try and do! And yeah, the mythics that are guaranteed don't really feel as mythic as one that you just randomly open, or happen to find in a singles bin at a store or something. I got an Iona, Shield of Emeria for 10 cents a while ago because of that. At the time it was a 40 dollar card, haha.

Whoa, that Iona card looks awesome! It would work well with my deck. I started out with an Azorius blue/white intro deck, so I pretty much only deal with cancelling and delaying opponents now. :P

I, too, have wanted to try the Maze's End thing, but I don't actively search for single cards so I've only ever happened across six of the guildgates.

Yeah, It's super sweet! However, I normally play red/white, so normally the game is over before I can cast it. I think I've had enough mana once, and one of my opponents countered it I believe. It was pretty rough haha.

I love Magic, been playing for around 7 years or so, but haven't had the time or resources to get new sets or sit and play it very much for the last few years-- I just keep up with the story and set releases and talk about what's new with my friend over the occasional Commander games :)

I'm so excited about Battle for Zendikar, I really want to pick it up soon as I can.

Same here!

Just finalized a red burn deck, I'll have to see how I fare against my friend's creature-heavy green deck tomorrow. :D
