pretty sure Fallout and Fallout 4 were made by different developers and had very different mechanics.

And how did you arrive at that conclusion?

 I arrived at that conclusion when it basically stopped being a RPG and more a shooter/action game like Farcry. All the core games, from the first one to three, have been RPGs(3, to a lesser extent, but it still had them.). New Vegas was the pinnacle of RPG in the new, 3D format.

 I mean, it's a great game. I love it. But I really wanted a good RPG set in the Post-Apocalypse(Like New Vegas). I guess I just expected a bit much.
