I've seen people say that the latest Pokemon Direct wasn't the most exciting one ever, and I would agree with that opinion. It would've been nice to get some footage of the new games other than a few drawings.

 

But still, seeing all the gameplay footage of the previous games, from Red and Blue to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, really brought back some nostalgic memories for me. That actually kind of made me like this video a little more. And I can't wait to learn more about Pokemon Sun and Moon when their release date gets closer.

 

It also makes me want to complete my Omega Ruby game even more now. :P

You definitely should complete Omega Ruby. The post-game content (which is to say, the content after beating the Elite Four) is really strong, much moreso than X and Y. Maybe not as dense as G/S/HG/SS, where you still had pretty much half the game left after becoming Champion, but still great and arguably even more narratively satisfying.
