So I FINALLY built my General Grievous Set

Toa Smoke Monster

So a couple weeks ago, I asked you all what should be the next set that I have laying around my room that I should build next. The set that won, at least according to what I read in the comments of it, was General Grievous. I wasn't able to build him at the time I said I was going to because life events got in the way. But yesterday I finally just sat down and got him built. :)

Overall, I think he is a really impressive set. He definitely looks like his film counterpart. He is also bigger than I thought he would be, both in height and size. This helps him look intimidating, which is good because he is a villain in Star Wars. :P

I do think that the way his feet are connected to his legs could've been done better, but that is just a minor nitpick though.

I'm really glad I got this set. I just feel bad that I didn't get around to building it for so long. :P

I have to disagree on the point that the set looks like his film counterpart.  I consider it to be closer to how he looks in The Clone Wars.  In Revenge of the Sith he's more spindly-looking, but in TCW he's bulkier and more hunched like the set depicts him to be.

Upon looking at photos of the film version of him after reading this, I agree that the set does look a bit different from him. I guess it's been awhile since I've seen Revenge of the Sith, so I guess my memory of what he looked like in it was off. :P

:kaukau: The set looks awesome.  It also has some wonderful tan pieces.  I'd consider getting it if I was making money to spare, but I'm not sure where I'd put it.  I don't play much with my LEGO sets anymore.
