So I finally got around to downloading the Pokemon Bank last night. I had been telling myself that I would do it for awhile, but I just hadn't gotten around to it. (Thanks to being an adult. ) It feels great now having a place to store all my Pokemon from Omega Ruby and Y that I want to save. Particularly the Legendary Pokemon from the 20th anniversary event going on this year.

Though the release of Sun and Moon had a part in me finally getting the Bank, the main reason I got it was because I kind of want to replay Omega Ruby again, but not lose my event Pokemon when I started over. (Or any other Pokemon that I might want to save.) And of course, whenever I do get Pokemon Sun, I would like to eventually transfer my Legendaries over that game as well. I might even replay the original Red, Blue, or Yellow too, just to get some Pokemon out of them as well.

It is a shame that you can't transfer items as well, but I can understand that restriction. I'm just glad I have a way to save my Legendary Pokemon from being deleted whenever I started over Omega Ruby. Because losing them after all my time spend on collecting them would've mad me really sad.
