Memory Card Data Corrupted
Last night... it happened. One of the tings a gamer fears most. Memory Card Corrupted. It was my GameCube memory card. My main one. The one that I had -EVERYTHING- on. Upwards to at least 20 games. I had a few on backup memory cards... only two. Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Kart: Double Dash.
I'm glad to still have my Melee Data, although I lost my awesome record though. It was actually going to be a part of my Smash Factor series. I'll say what it is here.
Event Match #4: Dino-wrangling
World record: 00:00.48
My record: 00:00.53
I should also note that the Data for Smash Bros is from 2004, and I'm only missing about 10 trophies.
I'll recount most of games that were lost:
Super Mario Sunshine - 120 Shine Sprites
Star Fox Adventures
Star Fox Assault
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Masterquest - Masterquest beaten
The Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition - Used it for the original Legend of Zelda and Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link. I'd already beaten Ocarina and Majora's Mask.
Kirby's Air Ride
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door - I had everything done in this one. *Sigh*
Mario Party 4-6
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - Had almost everything, missing a few heart pieces.
Super Mario Strikers
Pikmin
Luigi's Mansion
Dragonball Z Budokai
Mario Power Tennis
Metroid Prime - Had everything which needed to be found plus all scans.
Metroid Prime 2: Echos - Also had all powerups plus scans.
Soul Caliber 2 - Had all unlockables.
Sonic Heroes - This game... I didn't care for. At all.
Games I didn't own, yet had save data for:
Animal Crossing - Gamecube Animal Crossing was boring IMO.
Enter The Matrix - I beat this one.
Lego Star Wars 2 - I guess this gives me a reason to go pick up Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
Mario Superstar Baseball - I still want this one.
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
Resident Evil 4 - This one is unimportant as I have RE4: Wii Edition
At least 27 games worth of data gone. Why? Cuz the memory card decided to suck. Even after formatting the Memory Card it doesn't work. I will be getting two new ones from Wal-Mart later.
For some of these games I might be cheap and use my Action Replay, if I ever decide to play them again.
Kohaku, who is still a little depressed by this.
