They're mouths should just snap shut, yes. It's possible that a piece is off (as has happened on my Kane-Ra); you could try dismantling then rebuilding them.

I've also slightly modified mine to function even without the Pin, so maybe it's my tamperings ^^;

Way better than the Bahrag, IMO. My friend has them, they're sorta a waste of money (no offense, Ms. Gahdok)

I, personally, never got the Bahrag sets, but I wanted them sooo bad. If only I had the money, and didn't buy two extra Bohrok of the same kind...

But yeah, they seem to be quite interesting. Does it hurt if you make them bite you? Because it's kinda hard for them to rival Muaka/ Kane Ra if they don't leave visible marks when they bite you.

I don't have a Muaka, so I can't compare to that, but I think they worked just fine. The head should snap shut... the gears in the back of the head and the neck should lock together as the next extends, but past a point the gears become unlocked and the rubber band snaps the upper jaw down on the lower jaw. True, it doesn't always work, but it should most of the time.

And, yes, disabling them is very troublesome. But the big thing there was the rubber band holding a piece up... if your rubber bands are off, that might upset the whole functionality. I know the Bahrag aren't as complicated as the Boxer, but if one thing is off the whole thing will be off.

And what they lack in height they make up in width (just don't tell that to other queens). And they are filled with great MOCing pieces... I'm sure that's where half my useful MOCing pieces come from.

I have Nivawk, and he's nothing special, IMO. I think you're the only Bionicle fan who thinks that's the best set. Krekka is much better out of that line, and that's my least favorite series of Titans.
