The Dark Knight

Spoony Bard

Saw the first showing last night at midnight of Dark Knight. Movie was incredible of course, but I have a few things to say.

Two-Face stole the show. Not saying Joker's role sucked, just saying that he got showed up by Two-Face the second he came on screen (like the last 45 minutes of the movie was Two-Face going around killing people. Two-Face also resembled his counterpart from the animated Batman series from the 90s (remember, it was all CG for him, Aaron Eckhart didn't wear makeup for the role).

Joker was amazing. Second he came on screen to perform his magic trick, I was in awe. The stuff he did was just amazing.

Batman was alright. He seemed kinda bland, but I loved it when he went out of control and nearly killed the Joker in the interrogation room and also when he threw him off the building.

However there are some things I wanna say. Movie was too long. They shoulda taken out the Hong Kong scenes, and Scarecrow's role cuz he was just useless. Too much talking, and a little bit of action is all it is. Just suspense and drama, like a regular mobster movie I can see on AMC.

Anyways movie was good so go see it.

I really don't like that they picked Christian Bale for Batman. He's horrible at the comic book action.

I guess I'll go see it then. ^_^

I especially liked when Batman flipped his bike over. The whole theater went "ooh."

I'm gonna go see it on Sunday. How was Scarecrow involved? I thought they killed him off in Gotham Knight?

Scarecrow was in the beginning and was trying to do something with gang members, can't actually recall. His role coulda been just someone else. Batman caught him.

First, Batman (the character) was awesome and no, the Joker was not cool one bit. He was sick and gross. And Two-Face was disgusting!

The Joker was soooo amazing. Seriously, he was based off the Killing Joke. :P

I definitely agree with you that "Batman was alright". That's the one reason that I'm not quite sure what to think of the movie...just because I didn't feel that Batman was as awesome as he was in the first movie. The Joker totally stole the show - I have to say that I thought he was better than Two-Face. Every second with the Joker...amazing. Just amazing. I want to see it on IMAX now...

I need to see Batman Begins first. :(

Also, Batman prolly seemed bland just because it was in comarison to Two-Face and The Joker.

I'm about to see it, I'll tell you what I thought of it when I come back.

It was sold out.

Really is a shame about Ledger...how did he die again?

I saw it too, and it was seriously awesome.

I felt they stretched it a bit, too, but it was ok.

Also, I felt the Joker was more of the main character; Batman seemed like a supporting actor to me. :P

I'm still in awe from the movie.

I got to see it yesterday with a group of my dad's friends.

The Joker was way more evil than I've ever seen him before. I could tell he was going to be really evil in just his first scene, the "Pencil Scene". Beautiful...

The ending I didn't understand though. Why did batman want to take the blame for the killings Harvey did? I am sooo confused... Please sopmeone explain this to meh... :(

Joker's little magic trick, yes I couldn't help but chuckle a bit.
I agree on most of what you have said about it,

Two-face kinda did steal the movie at the end, but the Joker was cooler IMO

I agree that it was an awesome movie and made of WIN.

I have to say that that movie was, in my opinion, the best movie ever made. They didn't have a ton of special effects, but the awesomeness of it made up for that. Heck, I think it almost rivals you, Omicron! :sly:

My brother thinks that that wasn't really the Scarecrow. But the hockey pad Batmans were hilarious. And one of the best scenes was when Batman used his harpoons to flip over the truck. That was great.

Batman was better in Batman begins, but I think the joker was better than two face.
