What? No! Kopaka and Pohatu, man! Where'd you get Lewa from?

There was one problem. Kopaka liked Pohatu. The Toa of Stone was everything Kopaka wasn't-- open, friendly, warm-- so the two of them being friends was hard for most to picture. Kopaka, after all, was guarded, icy, far from trusting, and sometimes downright rude. But Pohatu had never asked or expected him to be anything else, which set the Toa of Stone apart from most.

That's from Shadows in the Sky. Verbatim. With that sort of paragraph in the official story, I could very easily blame my failure to write a Kopaka/Pohatu story on BZP's rule. Which of course nicely glazes over my ineptitude with romantic stories in general, not to mention same-gender shipping stories in particular. So let's go with that, yeah. It's BZP's fault. :satisfied:

It's more the fault of those few but vocal people who for some reason feel like yelling and complaining and being generally rude and hurtful whenever they see same-sex ship stuff of any sort. Alas. D:
