I get to see a ten year old party, the nine year old one was... very scary. More cuz I had to make sure no one decided to go "O hey, let's jump off the porch that stands two stories above the ground!"

I staff at a Scout summer camp. It's all nice, but see, I'm in a difficult position because of my size and my maturity fluctuation. I'm smaller than what others my age are, so they tease me, but I'm just big enough for the little kids to love me, and people my size are usually 1-2 years younger and totally weiiiiiiird. The teasing, I can do with, since I can kick any bully's posterior so long as I am on camp grounds (yay power!) and I can just isolate myself from the weirdos, but the little kids...

 

... it's like they follow me everywhere. And I can do nothing about it but smile, which is what hurts the most.
