Yes, you read the title of this entry right. After some hard thinking on my part, I have finally decided that I am going to stop writing "My Bionicle Sets Stories," my main comedy.

"But why?" you ask. "What is the problem?"

Well, to answer that question, let me tell you that I've grown a lot as a writer since I've first started writing comedies. I now know a lot more about description, grammar, spelling, characterization, plotting, foreshadowing, and all of that other good stuff for story writing.

Now I know that MBSS definitely doesn't lack most of that. I am aware that I've managed to make some funny characters and situations and such, but today I am going to give you my reason for canceling it:

I am uninterested in it.

"What?" you may exclaim. "Why? I still like it!"

You see, I am uninterested in writing it anymore because I find the characters, while genuinely funny and witty at times, to be too bland and cliche to me. Any and all future ideas I have for plots for it seem not to fit it or the Comedies forum in general and I feel that it would be a waste of time to continue writing something I no longer enjoy. I am much more interested in writing my more serious fanfics, such as the Shika Trilogy and the Glatorian Chronicles series of short stories. I also have other story ideas, such as my original fiction series Two Worlds, that I want to focus on.

Does that mean I didn't enjoy it at all? No way! MBSS was definitely fun to write and I loved working with such characters as Solek, Nuhrii, Kalmah, Toa Iruini, and various others that I liked so much. However, I just can't seem to write it at all anymore. I just can't see myelf continuing it. As much as I may enjoy those characters, they're a little too one-dimensional to me and the plots for future episodes just don't sound right to me.

Wil I ever return to writing comedies? Possibly. I do have a comedy idea, but the way I am writing it (every chapter will be in a different POV) it is going along very slowly. I've only finished the prologue and chapter one for this new comedy of mine. So yes, maybe some day I will return to writing comedies. But for now I want to focus on my other and (in my opinion) more important fics.

I am deeply sorry for all of my readers who enjoyed it. It was a fun ride, but like all great rides its gotta end sometime and I'm choosing now.
