I read the first book, found it an entertaining read, but not because of the drama, romance, whatever, but because I found it so ridiculous that it made me laugh, which is a good thing in my book.

IMO that woman just wrote a story she wanted to tell and apparently quite a lot of people liked it.

And anyway, I don't consider a book something to be getting all worked up over.

I just don't see the appeal of vampires who can walk around in the daylight and not burst into flames..

I'm about 90% sure that Twilight is a vampire conspiracy, to give them a new fresh supply of willing victims for blood sucking times. Vampire comes by every night and watches you sleep, and you wake up with weird bite marks? How romantic!
