According to Coolguy's Law, the popularity of the host is inversely proportionate to how much fun you can have at their house. Since family card games (such as UNO) are notorious for hosting the worst slumber parties, one can assume that the aforementioned card games are some of the most popular people in the world.

Well, i like card games, my self. I don't get why they're so popular, but it's prolly because they're mostly easy to get to grips with, and, in my community, people buy the packs of cards, not so they can play (like me), but so they can flick them at their friends and enemies. =/
