Seriously, I'm starting to think the people making the topics about the series are just major trolls waiting for the flame to break out.

But, here's a message to those of you who are actually SERIOUS about making those topics, remember, the Twilight demographic doesn't exist in large bundles here. The Twilight hatedom (which is most of the internet) does though. If you want to talk about the series, this is NOT the place to do it. Go to a Twilight "fansite", (I put this in quotes because really, the whole site could be infested with the itnernet Twilight hatedom by now)

Your official topic here in CoT will just be engulfed in flames, and the firefighter known as B6 will have to come and put them out. He's tired of doing that. It's like a building that keeps burning down, getting rebuilt, and burning down again. Eventually the firefighters will get tired and forbid you from constructing that building again. Twilight has one of the biggest hatedoms in existence right now, don't stoke the fires.

I think it's simply amazing how some people hide their true nature behind Internet alter-egos.

To offer my two cents:

I dislike the Twilight series and everything it stands for, regardless of the incarnation.

But the puerile and immature way that the members on this very site go about expressing their distaste has me wanting to defend the series.

The only thing we're doing is reflecting the behaviour of the over-obsessed fans in a negative way, which I suppose can be described as immature in a way.

As Dlakii has said before, if people aren't allowed to hate something, then people shouldn't be allowed to praise it either.

Don't be obstinate. You're allowed to hate it all you want. What you're not allowed to do is express that hate in an immature manner.

Being all angry and lacking common courtesy doesn't make you cool or edgy, and the anonymity of the Internet is not an excuse to be so virulent.

I'm not even going to bother trying to argue back, I'm sick of the fact that every single time a point is trying to be made, whether it being by me or others, they are always argued with or flamed at.

No one is flaming you, or anyone else in this entry. Though it's weird that you're upset about that, because this entry exists because you were upset that Kex mandated you could no longer flame people who enjoy Twilight, or Twilight itself.

No one said you can't hate Twilight. Hate it all you want, I do. But the point that the staff is making in your blog is that you need to express your opinions in a mature and respectful manner.

That is the point that has been made over and over, and if you want to argue with that, or continue posting in the manner you have recently, yes, your entries will continue to be locked.
