As yall may have noticed, there are two contests currently ongoing in S&T. I have several changes to our contest plans to announce today.

1) KanohiJournal contests will now get pinned S&T topics to advertise them (entries themselves will be on their website). The current contest, Desert Birdwatching, just launched. Go check it out!

2) In case you didn't see it, the next EM contest is up -- Tyrants. You can MOC the Tyrant species, and/or describe Tyrant powers.

3) B6 has also approved the creation of a new contest voting booth forum (we'll get to actually making it later ). All three contest series in S&T -- that is, the S&T main series contests, the Expanded Multiverse, and KanohiJournal, will all use this forum for their polls. Thus, we can schedule these three contests independently of the other various contests such as BBC, Art, Epics, etc.

4) We will at maximum have two contests on at a time. Typically a KJ contest will be happening alongside one of the other two types, although our tentative schedule has some breaks for it. We'll try to always have at least one contest going.

5) Just an FYI, I do plan to slowly phase out the S&T mainseries eventually. Now that doesn't mean it will necessarily end entirely, but might be a lot less of them, in favor of KJ and EM contests.

6) Two S&T pinned topics have been unpinned to free up pinning space there, and instead are now linked to at the top of the list of official topics. (The BRC suggestion topic and the spoiler policy discussion topic. Both are still fully official and revivable, but they don't get enough activity to justify stretching S&T pinned topics close to double digits. XD)

7) Avatar is awesome. Okay, that has nothing to do with our contests, but yeah.

In other news, a big announcement that also involves S&T comes tomorrow on the home page. All I'll say for now is, it's not a contest.
