Just because Homme, Grohl and John Paul Jones are awesome in their respective bands, and in certain cases when working together, does not necessarily mean that Them Crooked Vultures was a good idea.

I mean, when your band sounds like Queens of the Stone Age guitar riffs over Nirvana drum fills with Led Zeppelin groove lines, it just doesn't match up and sounds awful.
