Wherever We Go
So I finally got around to going grocery shopping yesterday. Even though I live right across the street from Rouses' supermarket (a local chain grocery store... like Market Basket, or maybe HEB. Not nationwide like Albertson's or Winn Dixie or Kroger's.), I try to get my shopping done at Wal*Mart.
I know, I know, this makes me a contributor to the evil corporate giant, the progenitor of the oligopoly and destructor of the small-town general store. I'm thereby evil myself and should repent of my capitalist ways. </sarcasm-riddled voice>
I can't help that it's within walking distance from my office and the prices are lower, and I'm not made of money.
(I will pick up the odd item at Rouses', but only if I can't find it at Wally-world.)
Since I do my shopping at Walmart, my grocery list tends to be not exclusive to grocery.
I forgot *smack* the new universal remote I need to get, but I did remember to pick up the new Newsboys CD, Go. I've only gotten through the first 3 tracks, and I've yet to hear a letdown. (I'm not that fond of "I am Free"... KLOVE overplayed it before WBSN came back on the air.)
This purchase was brought on by my hearing of "Wherever We Go" on LifeSongs. This song reeks of "awesome." I'm so going to get it on what was the KexPod (If it ever gets here.) so that Omi can listen to it. I'm sure he'd agree, any song that combines the lyrics "Wherever we go, that's where the party's at" and "Let's throw this party in gear" is awesome enough to get the Omi-san Seal of Approval®.
Heck, we'll need to be banging out the tunes as we set up BIONICLE at BrickFest 2007....
Yeah, ChocolateFrogs. You called it.
While yesterday's entry would have been posted as it was regardless of any official title, I am the other half of the BIONICLE Co-coordinator dynamic duo, as it were.
Yesterday's offer still stands: I'm only going to drive to pick up MOCs if you're within 4 hours one-way. If not, Omi and I are still working out shipping addresses and sizes.
