My family went on a trip to Disney World over New Year's week. While we were gone, a pipe in our fridge broke and we came home to a lot of water damage.
Today we're finally getting around to ripping up the damaged carpet and Pergo. The replacement flooring is really nice, like a cocoa-colored Armstrong wood flooring. I'm really excited to get shiny new floors... I'm just pooped from ripping up the old ones. XD;

So, I own around 500 different colored pencils at this point of my life. I'm at the point where I have to cataloug which pencils produce what color on paper, cause I have so many brands (e.g. I have 65 types of red and 80 types of brown). I lurve them lots, so keepin them organized is never a big deal. It's just reeeeeally time consuming! o___<

Not everyone's made for college.
I don't know why I never thought of this until now. But it's true, you know? Many people have good and prosperous lives without having to go to a top notch school, get one, two, three plus degrees, be at the top of their academic field. Plus people have different minds and personalities. Some love the challenge college brings, while some can barely keep from buckling under the pressure.
It's weird to think about this now.

Don't get stuck out in the rain for extended periods of time with a really absorbent coat!
You will be really really cold and wet and feel kind of yucky.
And then you will be achey the next day and go "GRAAAAH" all the time.

Had a light show today. I was kinda proud of what we'd done with it for what little time we had, but uh...
There was a couple problems.
You see, I was not told that:
A) VITAL cue timing was completely changed without my permission,
B) the set style was changed behind our backs, or
C) that I was the one having to run our show completely with no help from my partner.
AUGH
So yeah, it flopped. Really bad.
