Or, if you insist, Happy Halloween. Personally I prefer Samhain, since it's been around longer and it sounds classier, but there you are. Won't be doing much tonight -- I'll be in my "Killer Masquerade" costume, watching CSI, and scaring the trick-or-treaters that come to the door -- but I've settled on my NaNoWriMo subject: Break of Day. While it won't be the NaNo website, I'm using it as an excuse to try and break my year-long writer's block. Seriously, it's taking so long that it's crimina
Got Seneca's Keep looking somewhat like it's old self. =D In other news, I'm gearing up for NaNoWriMo, and have begun work on my Short Stories Contest entry. It'll be entitled "Dreams of Darkness," and hopefully I'll have it up in a couple of weeks. (And for those of you that are wondering, yes, it will tie into Wings )
OR: How I did nothing of global significance in the past 6+ months, in no particular order. Moped about the forums Finished Chapter 11 of Wings
Purchased Halo: Reach
Got good at Halo: Reach
Reached Level 25 Prime in all War For Cybertron classes
Handed Krayzikk his aft on a silver platter
Scared Akaku in Halo: Reach
Made the Skyrim dragon thing
Made 5 glass Nuva symbols
Badgered Zahaki into getting WFC
Killed Zahaki in WFC
Became an official Slipstream fangirl

It took longer than I anticipated, but BZP has returned! I'll be working on restoring my stories. I'll mostly focus on the epics that are still in progress, like Wings and Break of Day, and I'll link to my old library and old topics for all the rest, since I don't want to repost all of that when I've got a perfectly-good archive sitting around. As for my sticking-around, well, that's up to debate. I've been spending more time on other forums during the upgrade, so if things don't work out
I'm feeling very pleased with myself and watching Transformers: Prime online.
Zen's currently trying to get through one of the earliest testing chambers (he started about ten minutes ago -- he's asking for my help but I'm telling him he's gotta figure it out himself), and I'm on Chapter 2 so far. After getting Reach in a few weeks, I'll know what to buy next -- The Orange Box.
B)
(PS: Anyone with Portal 2 & Live care to trade Gamertags for Co-op?)
What would it take for my usual readers to leave a review for the latest Wings chapter? I already promised I'd get Reach so Ak and Kini would, but what about you guys?
*is open to anything you throw at me*
That thing Zen was all secretive about?
Apparently he went and preordered Portal 2 for the 360 behind my back.
WOOT
(and I still have all my money so Reach is still on track to reach (xD) my game shelf in May =D)

(Of TFA Skywarp, anyway.)
Speaking of him, he's been awfully secretive about something he did at the mall over the weekend. Apparently he's not telling me any details until tomorrow, but I have my suspicions that it has something to do with Portal 2, since he asked a lot of questions about Power to the Player before he went there ...
Thanks to the Breaking the Silence party that was after school, I can talk without guilt. =D
That being said, I figure I might as well give you a report on how my metal work is going. Here's the short version:
Skyrim Pendant: Still having technical difficulties Glass Nuva Symbols: I'm currently making metal molds of the Gali and Tahu ones, which will let me make multiple versions of them. The other four are on the way, but at the rate they're taking, I probably won't have the proper molds u
Series: Transformers: Animated
Episode: A Bridge Too Close: Part I
Characters: Starscream and his clones: Skywarp, Thundercracker, Sunstorm, Ramjet, and Slipstream
Situation: Starscream has an army of clones. Too bad they're a bunch of psychological loose cannons
[/geek]
Tomorrow is the National Day of Silence, which I've been observing ever since I heard of it. During that time, I will be off of AIM, most likely XBL too, and my posts on various forums will be kept to a minimum.
Just letting you know.
Got a few jokes up my sleeve to use on Zen. >=D
Anyway, today's probably my last day on BZP for a bit, unless I can somehow get Internet access on the cruise ship. Hopefully when I get back I'll find that the mysterious quietness in the Wings review topic has gone away.
[/subtle hint]
Why?
Simple, I'm going on a Mexican cruise over spring break, and going somewhere warm and outside the continental USA tends to fire up my creative nodes.
I'm expecting to have a lot of my Writer's Block done away with when I come back, if last year's Hawaii trip was any indication of things. =D
(Also, no, I'm not going yet; first week of April)
Technically my mom's birthday was yesterday, but since today was the day my aunts could show up for dinner, yah. ;D
And my brother turns 13 next week.
...
Embargos
There are a few things I will flat-out refuse to do. Avoid at all costs: any rubbery pieces (i.e. Inika masks, Skakdi heads, etc) Launchers/Launcher ammo Ehlek claw (tried already. Epic fail) Now that the list of doomed items is done … on with the rest!
Metals BronzeWhite(resembles silver) Yellow (resembles gold) Ancient (resembles copper) Silver (limited supplies) Kanohi/Other Set Pieces
I only do these in bronze; please specify if you want yellow, ancient, or white bronze in y
Normally I'd complain about the whole state-testing thing, especially since I took the SAT on Saturday (hah, how ironic), but I passed them last year, so I have no need to take them ever again.
=D I get to sleep in the rest of the week! Yay!
Enscribed Metal Guitar Pick (classmate): Completed
White Bronze Noble Matatu (Zarayna): 70% complete; poured, but needs some work before I consider it done
White Bronze Nuparu Claw Ring (classmate): Near-completion; have to prod Mark into finishing a crucial step
White Bronze Gahlok Shield ring (teacher): Near-completion (come ON, Mark ...)
Silver Skyrim Dragon Pendant (myself): Encountering technical difficulties
Glass Nuva Symbols (a bunch of people): Prepping stage; working on
Got my copy today (after being orientated about a possible gig at an animal shelter), along with 1600 Microsoft Points, which were later spent on War For Cybertron DLC. And aside from a few minor complaints, mostly about the pixelly-ness of some of the graphics, I'm already in love with it.
Though then again, I loved all the RPGs in the series (not so much about Mystery Dungeon, but meh), so that's no surprise.
ALSO YAY NO MORE CHIBI AVATARS
WHY? WHY DID I HAVE TO OPEN MY MOUTH AND SAY THERE WASN'T ANY SNOW?!
Now it's been just over twelve hours and there's snow on the ground, with more on the way.
Why can't it be summer already?
Gaaah, the long weekend's almost over. -.-
.. on the bright side, though, I've got Pokemon Black preordered, played a lot of War For Cybertron, finished a chapter for one of my fanfics (not one on here, sorry), and there hasn't been a lick of snow in my region.
I have Friday, Monday, and Tuesday off. Normally I'd spend that long weekend writing and hitting Xbox Live (especially since that weekend will have my brother being out of the house a lot), but since there's a slight possibility that I'll be spending a bit of time in Portland, perhaps I won't be on as much.
