I'm starting to fall out of them, even though I've been staffing Kingdom Gaeabionta since it started back at the beginning of 2009.
It's kinda sad, really.
My friend in French class, Jared (who happened to have given me two giant candy bars before winter break), has informed me that I'm crazy because I don't like waffles. (I find this slightly odd, because I've known I'm crazy for years now.)
I told him that was the least of his worries, since I also didn't like: Waffles Pancakes Hamburgers Chocolate chip cookies He wasn't my only classmate to think I was lying about last one. But it's all true.
I'm seriously wondering what kind of family mine is. I mean: My parents let my little brother try some of their beer, even though I repeatedly voiced the opinion that it was a bad idea. (I STILL think that.) I came on to the laptop last night to find that all websites -- from AIM to Google to BZP and Brickshelf -- had been blocked on my account, and remained as such until Dad fixed it.
I don't know when or how, but someday Mom will pay for all that. I missed 35 emails because of that!
I have a feeling that the heavy rain that was going on this morning was an omen -- I decided to be awesome to my buddies and bring a cake to school. Unfortunately, I found a disturbing trend: for every person that I offered cake to and accepted, there were roughly two that declined.
What is this world coming to?
(And to top it all off, my crush didn't show up -- which might be a good thing, since I was wearing his heart tag on Wear Your Crush day last week and I got grilled an awful lot ab
I dunno what's up lately. Not complaining or anything, but up here in Washington it's feeling like April/May instead of the second month of the year. Clear skies, higher temps, tons o' sun glare . . . I think our clouds have gone on vacation, people.
(Not trying to rub it in, you folks on the East Coast )

... I am so getting that movie when it comes out on DVD. Seeing it in 3D didn't hurt, either.
*is still drooling in awe over the movie she saw this afternoon*
My brother and I have been making good use of Day 1 of our five-day weekend (=P), mostly by getting to Death Mountain of Twilight Princess. My brother got stumped by the steam vents blocking the path to the mines, but since I had been paying attention in the Twilight Realm, I just made Link put on his Iron Boots and walk through it without getting hurt. This is a sum-up of the reaction:

(Apologies in advance for the huge pictures and slow loading time; I haven't been able to figure out how to shrink them down. >.<)
So yes, there's some of the pictures I took of my Bronze Kirop, which xccj kindly sent back to me from BrickCon (thanks again, buddy!). The fifth picture isn't of Kirop per se, but they were things I got from his presense. I bought the green Kaukau from BrickCon; the other three were a
Now that I'm no longer lagged (while I still have the occasional headache, I can probably blame that on the heat), I can go into detail.
For one thing, this place is very inspiring. I can't think of the last time I did this much writing/planning in such a short amount of time. I'm already mostly done with the chapter plans for Wings, even though it's probably gonne wind up muuuuch longer than LST and H&H have been.
And the island itself is beautiful (and WARM, deliciously WARM!). Ther
Since we've gone weeks without a new vote, I'll be announcing the new Second-in-Command for the Toa Seneca. Kini won by a landslide (and is really the most active member out of the nominees ), so he is replacing Akaku. Akaku himself won't be taken off the list, but he'll be mentioned in a part that says "Goodbye".
With that handled, I have something else to think about. I really wanted to keep with the theme of seven for the Seneca, but the original group are a tight bunch.
What do you gu
As if it wasn't enough my family spent last Christmas in Kauai and we're going on a cruise next spring, apparently we're skipping town Veteran's Day weekend and heading for the Strip. What a great way to celebrate a time of memorial.

This'll be awesome.
It's called "Living Things"; it's coming out June 26th, and it's a return to the style they had in Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I'm happy. ^^ *continues listening to "Burn It Down" (the song they have available from the album on iTunes)*
First week of school is over. Woo.
But I've still got a ways to go before I get to the next semester. Hopefully I'll have my own laptop by then. (Or more than two hours a day at home.)
Assuming you have wi-fi in that trunk of yours (or were let out), I've got news for you. Your commission is cast and nearly ready to be shipped. =P Still needs a little cleaning work, but I like how it came out. Also, it's friggen huge on my finger. Hope you like it; it's practically the only thing that went the way it was supposed to this week.
According to the thermomator outside, it's 18 degrees F right now. And, according to the weatherman, we're not supposed to get out of the freezing temperatures anytime soon.
*sighs* Chemistry's gonna be ****, taking into account that it's in the second-coldest room in the building. -.-
Now I have two friends that won the Cryoshell albums. I swear there's a conspiracy -- or maybe the odds just don't like me.
*soothes ego by posting another Wings chapter*
I seem to prefer playing a game than actually beating it, since I've opened a new file for my Metroid Prime Trilogy. At this point, I'm never going to beat the game. Oh well.
A few quick things: Thardus: Awesome music, but a pain in the butt to destroy Trying to navigate the pitch-black confines of the Space Pirate base is not made any easier by having your little brother nag you War Wasps, Shriekbats, and Sheegoths/Baby Sheegoths are the most annoying enemies on Tallon IV, save for the Choz
Despite the fact I took all the steps, I failed to obtain the songs Cryoshell was giving away.
Now I have to wait until they release the CD here in the States, and I haven't a clue when that's going to happen.
EDIT: Nvmd. The totally awesome Lady K has sent them to me, so it doesn't really matter.
Zen was playing Pokemon Mystery Dungon: Blue Rescue Team (he recently got it for $11 =P), and since I had nothing to do until our parents came back from an errand, I hung over his shoulder and made jokes at his expence while he struggled with Magma Cavern. Two made frequent appearances:
Me: What's Groudon's power level?
Zen: IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!
And, after the aforementioned Legendary kicks his butt:
Zen: THIS IS *censored*
Me: Actually, this is Magma Cavern.
