The bible book The Song of Songs is not usually the best place to find pickup lines that would work in today's society. At Catholic Underground yesterday, the singer was preforming a song he had written called the song of the song of songs. You know those weird transparent looking files with names like '~WRD1146'? Well, one of them had an updated version of my story. Lost all the formatting, but I got the text back, which is the important thing. Now I must resist the urge to dance around crowing with triumph.

It started up as usual. my second oldest brother came over while I was on the computer. I finally got off and when outside with him and my third oldest brother. I must say. Jump-kicking a swing set has never been so fun.

Have you ever began work on an epic, only to realize after you've written two chapters that your main character's personality is totally different than how you first thought it would be? Chapter editing time!
I have indeed been infected by that horrendous disease. So here I sit, staring at a black page in a word doc, and hoping for some motivation. Fortunately both Kiotu and RRR (No, I am not using your full name. Far too long) write before me in the Epics contest. So I have time to shake it. Threats, bribes, and any other random form of motivation is appreciated.

Okay, more correctly 'anything that involves writing or RPG maker except for RPing block'. I have it. Haven't written Any stories for a while. And RPG Maker is something I just have no oomph to use.. Maybe the secret projerct me and Dovydas are working on will change that...

On another note, I posted my story Never Goes away. And I did something I can't recall seeing anyone else doing. I named this song fic something else besides the song title (Figure.09)
And while I'm on the subject of writing, I'm almost done with chapter three of my Zarayna epic. Man, these heavy troops of Artakha's are not people you want to fight, I'll say that.

Fifty-six pages of writing on one story, probably closer to fifty when you cut out parts that are in mid edit. This has got to be my all time record. The annoying thing is that I've pretty much ditched my first draft, wasting 26K words.

Because I automatically assume they have the same mindset as myself: namely that in grieving, they want people to shut up and not murmur the usual cliche condolences that the fifty+ people before them already said. Yeah, that's why my way of going to a wake is to pay my respects, say hello, and hide in some obscure corner.
So I just found out today, my older sister is moving to Minnesota in a few weeks.
My reaction? Well, this puts it simply. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

The Mockingjay is redeemed (partially). And all because I found a fanmade version of The Hanging Tree. Seriously, it's the most epic song I've heard in a while.
Who am I to not say that the song Who am I by Casting Crowns is like, the awesomest praise and worship song I have ever heard?
I think it's taking its place next to Looking for angels as one of my favorite songs.
So, yesterday, it was pouring rain with high winds. And I had to go into a swamp to pick some winterbarry, which my brothers sell to florists - I'm kinda taking over the business after they moved out - and when I got home, I found out that i didn't even have to pick it, so I was soaked to the skin and a bundle over what I needed.
Then about ten seconds after I got back from delivering it, the power goes off. >.<
So yeah, what a day...
