I went out thinking I might get a copy of MH4U. I was not expecting the Shulk amiibo. But apparently nobody had asked about them and when I showed interest in the new Xenoblade game the employee mentioned he had an extra one in stock. And the Target nearby had one copy of MH4U left. Score. Also, don't ask about the pink tinge. I honestly haven't a clue what that's about.
Finally! It reminds me of when I used to play zero mission when I was younger. I'm stuck on the back to back battles with Mistral and jet-stream Sam. I can take Mistral down pretty easily with little damage to my health bar and no nanopastes wasted, but I just can't figure out the other guy. Am I supposed to be able to parry all of his attacks? Because he attacks, I parry he attacks again, I can't parry then he starts a combo and I'm stunned and can't do anything about it. (The stunned mechanic is the absolute worst) I can get him down to between 10% and 20% and then he
So I was supposed to start work about an hour and a half ago. Well, there was apparently some form of mixup. I was given the wrong time. Luckily everything worked out, and I'll just be starting in a few days. So I get to continue freaking out until then. Great.
I just found a copy of Metroid Prime: Hunters at my local used bookstore. I know this has never been the best Metroid game, but I used to play it with my friends in my freshmen year of high school. Oh my goodness. That was like... somewhere between 5 and 6 years ago. And with that, all I need to have a comprehensive Metroid collection is Super Metroid (and that... other one.). All I need is five coins. So close.
Wow. I thought Transistor was great. But then I finish this game. Wow. I'm curious about the new one that's coming out, and I tried the demo for MH3, and enjoyed the little bit I've played of it. If you have not played the game That right there is pretty close to the entire premise of it. If you have, you may remember a certain portion of the game having an uncanny resemblance to that comic. All sources I could gather say this comic and said game have absolutely no link whatsoever. (This comic is from 2011, the game released in 2012 and development started in 2007, with a demo that shows the games direction and tone released in 2009.) So make of that what you will.

I think I pinned down what's felt off about it.
