So today is the 40th anniversary of Star Wars. It was on this day, back in 1977, that the first Star Wars film came out, giving the world one of the best sci-fi movies ever made. And since then, we've gotten seven more Star Wars film with more on the way, comics, books, video games, multiple TV shows, and tons of merchandise. (Many of it being Lego sets. ) While the quality of these things depends on the person, there's no argument that Star Wars holds a special place in many people's hearts
With Pokemon Sun And Moon coming out last week, one might forget that Legendary Pokemon are still being given out for Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X, and Y for Pokemon's 20th Anniversary. I myself almost forgot to get Genesect, this month's Legendary Pokemon, and I haven't even got Pokemon Sun yet. And it would've been a shame if I had missed it, because I've collected all of them so far. I would've been really mad if I had missed Genesect. But now, I only have to worry about getting t
Two hundred entries. It feels like only yesterday when I first had access to my blog during one of BZP's anniversary weeks. I thought it was so cool to have it back then. I still think its cool even though I'm a Premier Member now. I've really enjoyed having a place to post my thoughts on movies, thoughts on video game and movie trailers, random questions, and post about some crazy things I've either seen myself or read online. Anyone else seen the movie 1408? I watched it for the second time earlier tonight, and I enjoyed it just as much as when I first saw it. I think John Cusask (sp?) does a good job in the movie. My favorite scenes are when his character, Michael, is talking to Samuel L. Jackson's character in the mini-fridge and when Michael is hugging his daughter towards the end of the movie. I didn't discover this video until a few months ago, courtesy of a coworker. Its one of those things that you know doesn't have a need to exist, but you are glad it does anyway. And I do know that it was posted a few months shy of two years. But I still wanted to put it in an entry here. Because why not?
Whatever has been going around making people sick, I have caught it. As of this entry I just have a somewhat sore throat, a cough, and my body is feeling a little weak, but I'm sure I'll be dealing with an extremely running nose among other symptoms in the coming days. Thankfully, I have the next two days off from work, so hopefully I can rest up and kick this out of my system. Because I really don't like feeling like this.
