Come on, Nintendo. You really didn't reveal anything new regarding Metroid Prime: Federation Force or any info about the series itself at E3 this year? I know a lot of people have mixed opinions on Federation Force at the moment, but I still think you could've at least had a demo of the game at E3, or maybe just talked about it and/or revealed a couple new things about it. Because from what I've read and seen so far about the conference, neither was done for the game. I bet some minds could
Since Legends of Chima came to an end and its forums are going to be shut down soon, I thought I would nominate an image to be used to put on its imaginary tombstone. The following is that image: I don't know how well it would represent the series as a whole. But I saved this image from a BZP Legends of Chima set review years ago for a reason, and this could be it! If this isn't memorable enough, this one could also be an option: This one will help us remember Chima as well, even if i
You know, I wasn't too excited for a fifth Pirates movie. I felt that there really didn't need to be any more of them after At Worlds End. Especially since the fourth one wasn't as good as the first three IMO. And while the first trailer for the fifth movie did get my attention, I still wasn't too excited for it. Then I saw this new trailer. Now, I'm really excited for this movie. The villain looks scary, Will Turner and the Flying Dutchman are back, and the scenes shown in it look gorgeous
And after working roughly 167 hours in the last 12 days at my job, I pretty much feel like poor Arnold here. Joking aside, my busiest week of the year is over, so now I have free time again. Which means I finally have time to do stuff on BZP. It feels good to have said time. So, did I miss anything in my inactivity?
In Gen 1 Bionicle's Voya Nui storyline, Brutaka knocks all the Toa Nuva out with just one swing of his weapon. In Gen 2 Bionicle's storyline, Kulta the Skull Grinder knocked all the Toa out with one swing of his weapon as well. And in both stories, both Brutaka and Kulta were seeking masks of ultimate power. Except Kulta actually got it for a moment. Conclusion: Kulta is Gen 2 Bionicle's more successful, eviler, far underdeveloped to the point that his role in the story could be considere
Do you remember the movie Avatar that came out back in 2009? The movie made by James Cameron that had the majority of its cast playing giant blue aliens named Na'vi on a moon named Pandora? Have you been wanting a sequel to said movie? Well you're in luck then, as there are four sequels to this movie in development right now. Yes, you read that right. FOUR SEQUELS! James Cameron, who made the first movie, has spend the last couple of years writing the scrips for these four movies, with the
Yep, another one of these is coming out next summer. And Michael Bay directed it, so expect tons of explosions. Joking aside, I actually think this is a decent trailer. I don't like the song that plays in it though, particularly with the singer and the way his voice sounds in this. But having Anthony Hopkins do a voice over for it is cool IMO. Plus it's ending is good too. Seeing Bumblebee take on Optimus Prime could be very interesting, if the build up to it is done right. Who knows, mayb
Man, a LOT of trailers have come out in the past week. Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Transformers: The Last Knight, Fast and Furious 8, etc. And along with those came this trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes. I've enjoyed the first two movies of this rebooted franchise. In fact, I think Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the movie before this one, is one of the best sequels ever made in a trilogy. The ending of that movie left me excited for WftPotA, and this trailer o
*Thirty years ago yesterday, video game players were introduced to a lone bounty hunter by the name of Samus Aran, who began her journey to rid the universe of Space Pirates and Metroids in the 1986 game titled 'Metroid.' Since then, there have been several titles that have been added to this growing series. Metroid 2: Return of Samus. Super Metroid. Metroid Fusion. Metroid Prime. Metroid: Zero Mission. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Metroid Prime Hunters. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Metroid: Other
With all the reveals going on at E3 this year, only info on two other games besides The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind have really caught my attention so far. Those games would be Pokemon: Sun/Moon and the Spider-Man PS4 teaser that was revealed. I figured I'd give my thoughts on both of them in this one entry. So let's start with Pokemon:
A few new Pokemon are revealed in this new trailer. Pikipek is probably my favorite out of the reveals. Then again, I've always liked the flying ty
So I finally completed The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask a couple days ago. I know I mentioned months ago that I would beat it, and now I can say that I have. It wasn't at 100% though, as I didn't get all the heart pieces or masks. But that just gives me another reason to play through it in the future. I really enjoyed the game overall. It took me some time to get used to the three day cycle and how it effected the world I was in, but once I did I started doing really well in the game. I als
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_y1yuqwlko It's official, everyone. New Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go! Later this week, over 80 Gen 2 Pokemon will become available to catch in the game. The baby Pokemon of Gen 2 have already been available to be caught from catching eggs. But these will be catchable by throwing Pokeballs at them. There will also be new berries as well as items that help to evolve certain Pokemon. I don't know much about them as of this entry, but more info will proba
What is your all time favorite moment in the entire Star Wars story, whether it be in the movies, TV shows, and novels? Also, what is your least favorite Star Wars moment out of all of them?
Well, look what got released earlier today. Batman himself Ben Affleck released this short teaser of this DC fan favorite character on his Twitter account this morning. While there isn't that much to talk about, it is cool to see him here and I imagine this means he'll show up in the Justice League at some point. I admit, my excitement for that movie has gone up a little since watching this. I just hope the character is properly portrayed in it.
Haven't done one of these in awhile. Let's fix that. So, if you could make a series of Lego sets based off of any story, whether it be from video games, books, TV shows, movies, etc., what story would you use?
I've spoken on here before about being interested in seeing the live action Beauty and The Beast movie when it comes out next year. I liked the original Disney movie, and it is considered one of Disney's best movies ever. (At least, I think I read that somewhere) And that leaves me curious to see how they would handle a live action version of said movie. Today, the first trailer for the film was released, and I can say that my interest is still there for the film. I really like the music that
(I know this came out last weekend, but I didn't have time to make an entry on it until now.) I don't know if I ever talked about this here, but I used to be a big fan of the Power Rangers back in the day. My first season I ever watched was Power Rangers: In Space. I continued to watch the following seasons all the way up to SPD Emergency. From there, my interest had gone down in the show, probably because I didn't enjoy SPD that much and I was getting into other interests. But still, I rememb
Here's the trailer for those haven't seen it yet:
As for what I think of it, I think it looks pretty good. Once again, its looks as though Marvel has made a great casting choice for one of their movies. I think Benedict Cumberbatch will do a great job as Doctor Strange. Also, the reality warping scenes look amazing in this. Especially with that first scene of it. I have seen people say that this sort of looks like a mix between Batman Begins, Inception, and The Matrix. And I do kind of
For those who don't know what a hand spinner is, it looks something like this. Anyways, I learned yesterday that these objects called 'hand spinners' are the newest craze going on right now. I actually didn't even know that they existed until yesterday. All I've seen them do is spin for a long time while someone is holding it. That's it. I guess they could spin on their own while their laying on a table or something similar, but when I saw people try to do that, the spinner became mobile and c
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_8cbx_jOmw Well, if there was any doubts at all that this movie was a myth, this trailer crushes them. I really don't have much to say about this trailer, except that emoji has the same amount of excitement for this movie as I do. I really try not to judge movies based only on their trailers, but I just don't see how this movie could be good. At least not yet, anyways. But I guess we'll find out if it is good or not when it is released next year. What
For Bionicle fans who wanted to see something else from Gen 1 Bionicle return, I don't think they had this in mind. Joke aside, this is some really cool new info on the upcoming Pokemon Sun/Moon games. The legendaries look amazing, especially with their cool abilities. The region looks beautiful as well. Also, having a Rotom be a part of your Pokedox is a stroke of genius. Though I wonder if it counts towards your completed Pokedex... I'm really looking to playing these when they come out i
