As I said a couple entries back, I'm going to be going out of town to Las Vegas this week for vacation. While I will have Internet access at the hotel I'm staying at and on my phone, I don't know how much time I will spend online. So if you don't see that much activity from me until the end of the week when I return, that's why. Oh, this is going to be a fun trip!
Yep, you read that right. Nintendo is going to be releasing a mini version of the NES on November 11, 2016 with 30 classic games on it. These games range from the original Metroid to the Super Mario Bros games to The Legend of Zelda one and two to Castlevania one and two. Here is the full list of games for it: Balloon Fight Bubble Bobble Castlevania Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Jr. Double Dragon II Dr. Mario Excitebike Final Fantasy Galaga Ghosts ‘n’ Gobl
Well, I got some a couple interesting things coming for me in the next couple of weeks. So I figured why not use my blog to, well, blog about them. 1. I'm going on vacation next week! I'm going to have nine days off from my job. It will also be the first weekend I'll have off since last October. My Dad and I are going to Viva Las Vegas. Neither one of us has been there before, so it will be a new experience for both of us. And since we will be flying there, this trip will also be the first t
Over the last two days, I gotten calls that had some really strange names bought up in my phone's caller ID. And they weren't people's names either. They were names of things I wouldn't expect to see in one's caller ID. Here are these names: Illegal Scams. Protect Love Ones. Incoming Baby. Redemption Dept. My only question is why am I getting calls from people or place who identify themselves with these names? I know there're probably telemarketers, but still...
This past weekend was one of the roughest I've had to work in a long time. I clocked out with roughly 84 hours of work over the last six days, and I worked afternoon to mornings through the whole weekend. I saw the sunrise four morning in a row. But thankfully its now over. Plus, it probably won't be as busy as it was on that weekend for the next few months at my job. It's all downhill from here. And I vacation in two weeks as well, so that's something to look forward to.
Yesterday I talked about the new Pokemon that were confirmed to be real as well as posted links to videos to each one. Here is the official trailer with all of those videos, except this one also reveals their types and abilities. Here are my overall thoughts on these reveals. 1. I wasn't expecting so many of these to be electric type Pokemon. I figured Vikavolt and Togedemaru would be, but I wasn't expecting Tapu Koko to be as well. I would've thought it would be part bug, part another type. N
So seven new Pokemon from Sun and Moon, who were leaked early online, were confirmed to be real today. Each one has a video that was released to confirm that they're going to be in the game. The following are these videos and my thoughts on the Pokemon themselves.
Probably the Pokemon that has been talked about the most since these seven were revealed. I've seen some people say that it looks like a cross between a Pikachu and Togepi, though I personally think it looks more like a cross bet
I saw this movie last week, but I haven't had a chance to post my thoughts on it until now. I'm putting them in spoiler tags, so I don't spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet and want to. So don't read any further if you don't want to be spoiled.
Two hundred entries. It feels like only yesterday when I first had access to my blog during one of BZP's anniversary weeks. I thought it was so cool to have it back then. I still think its cool even though I'm a Premier Member now. I've really enjoyed having a place to post my thoughts on movies, thoughts on video game and movie trailers, random questions, and post about some crazy things I've either seen myself or read online. Here's to another two hundred hopefully interesting entries!
I didn't discover this video until a few months ago, courtesy of a coworker. Its one of those things that you know doesn't have a need to exist, but you are glad it does anyway. And I do know that it was posted a few months shy of two years. But I still wanted to put it in an entry here. Because why not?
Come on, Nintendo. You really didn't reveal anything new regarding Metroid Prime: Federation Force or any info about the series itself at E3 this year? I know a lot of people have mixed opinions on Federation Force at the moment, but I still think you could've at least had a demo of the game at E3, or maybe just talked about it and/or revealed a couple new things about it. Because from what I've read and seen so far about the conference, neither was done for the game. I bet some minds could
With all the reveals going on at E3 this year, only info on two other games besides The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind have really caught my attention so far. Those games would be Pokemon: Sun/Moon and the Spider-Man PS4 teaser that was revealed. I figured I'd give my thoughts on both of them in this one entry. So let's start with Pokemon:
A few new Pokemon are revealed in this new trailer. Pikipek is probably my favorite out of the reveals. Then again, I've always liked the flying ty
As you can tell from the trailer, this latest Zelda game looks beautiful. It also has some amazing music, though nearly all Zelda games have good music, so this isn't a surprise. As for the game itself, its looks like its going to be a lot of fun to play. I do get vibes from Uncharted, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Shadow of the Colossus from it, but those are good vibes. And who wouldn't want to explore Zelda game with a world that looks as big as the one in Xenoblade. (I don't know if it actual
Since I've had an extremely busy weekend, I haven't been able to keep up with all the new stuff being revealed at E3 this year. So I check on Twitter today and I've learned so far is that one of the announcers said a word incorrectly while he was talking, there has been an overabundance of card games at the presentations, and apparently the Xbox One is becoming obsolete. And E3 isn't even over yet. I wonder what else I missed since it started.
So a couple entries back I asked everyone which of my un-built set I should build first: Tahu Uniter, Darth Vader, or General Grievous? At the end of the deadline I put on the vote, Tahu came out as the winner. So I went ahead and built his set. I didn't get a chance to do it until yesterday though, thanks to a last minute work related event popping up in my schedule on Tuesday. But now he is built. As for my thoughts on him, he's better than I originally thought he was going to be. I in part
For Bionicle fans who wanted to see something else from Gen 1 Bionicle return, I don't think they had this in mind. Joke aside, this is some really cool new info on the upcoming Pokemon Sun/Moon games. The legendaries look amazing, especially with their cool abilities. The region looks beautiful as well. Also, having a Rotom be a part of your Pokedox is a stroke of genius. Though I wonder if it counts towards your completed Pokedex... I'm really looking to playing these when they come out i
I saw X-Men: Apocalypse last Thursday at a midnight showing, though I haven't had a chance to talk about it until now. While I didn't think that it was better than X-Men 2 or Days of Future Past, I did enjoy it a lot more than I thought it would. Not to the extent that I enjoyed Civil War or Deadpool, but its definitely a movie I don't regret seeing. I'll put the rest of this in spoiler tags, as what I'm about to talk about is spoilers and I don't want to ruin anything about the movie to those w
So I have three unbuilt sets currently sitting in my room. One is the General Grievous constraction set, which I got back in September. The other two are the Tahu Uniter set and the Darth Vader constraction set, both which I got back in March. I haven't build any of these sets due to a combination of work, doing various stuff online, playing Pokemon: Omega Ruby, and me just being lazy. But now with the Ekimu titan and Umarak the Destroyer sets coming out soon, I figured I better build the set
It's been awhile since I've talked about my playthrough of Pokemon: Omega Ruby. I've made a lot of progress since my last entry about it. Here are the highlights: 1. I beat the Elite Four. I sailed through it for the most part. Steven gave me some trouble at the end of it, but I was able to beat him too. I even challenged myself to not use Mega Evolution in any of the battles, and I still beat them. I'm really glad my team was able to pull it off. 2. I really like how the official story end
So over the last few days, new trailers for Independence Day: Resurgence, Star Trek: Beyond, Ghostbusters, and Beauty and Beast have been revealed to the public. It's been awhile since I've talked about new movie trailers, so I thought this would be a good time to fix that. The following is my thoughts on these trailers. Note: The only trailer I have a link to is Beauty and the Beast. The others have either language which prevented me from linking to them here or I wasn't sure if I wanted to l
I'm off from work about four hours earlier than I usually am on Thursdays. This is thanks to some monsoon rain and thunderstorms that hit my local area today. It's basically as if I got the night off from work, and it feels so weird for me to be home as of this entry. Not that I'm complaining though. This just gives me more time to watch TV shows and Youtube videos.
BZP Member ToaTimeLord is currently hosting a Mafia game in the Games and Trivia Forum entitled Bionicle Mafia XXX: Destiny of Light. I believe that it will be a fun game, but as of this entry It needs ten more people to get started. Here is the link to the topic for anyone who might be interested in joining the game.
