Welp, I've continued my trek into the modern age today. I have bought a new laptop, the first I've ever owned. I've really enjoyed having it so far. It will take some getting use to, but I think I'll get the hang of it. Hopefully. Also, this is my first blog entry that I've posted from said laptop. Which is neat IMO.

One is a trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon games released on last Tuesday, while the other is the Assassin's Creed movie trailer which was released just last night. I saw X-Men: Apocalypse last Thursday at a midnight showing, though I haven't had a chance to talk about it until now. Since I've had an extremely busy weekend, I haven't been able to keep up with all the new stuff being revealed at E3 this year. So I check on Twitter today and I've learned so far is that one of the announcers said a word incorrectly while he was talking, there has been an overabundance of card games at the presentations, and apparently the Xbox One is becoming obsolete. And E3 isn't even over yet. I wonder what else I missed since it started.
So I was able to see Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice last weekend. I just haven't had a chance to post anything about it until now thanks to work and other events in my life. So I finally got Mario Maker 3DS the other day and I've been playing it whenever I've gotten some free time. And I've come to one conclusion: I'm going to need to play it a LOT to become good at playing these levels. Seriously, I'm not that great at playing them. I've only done created levels that were marked as 'easy' so far and some of them I haven't been able to complete. I'm now one year less than a quarter of a century years old! To clarify, today is my birthday, which I have turned 24 years old. I FEEL SO OLD! Though I know I'm not that old. Yet. So the tide came in really hard today at my job, which happens to be an amusement park right on the water. The whole section where I work, which is basically the rides section of the park, went underwater. It wasn't anything too bad, as I imagine the deepest spots were probably no more than a foot deep. So the first DLC expansion for Pokemon Sword and Shield is coming out tomorrow night. As someone who had beaten the main story and after game of Pokemon Sword, I look forward to seeing everything this DLC pack will add into it. I'm especially looking forward to the new and returning Pokemon. I'm not sure who all is coming back, but I do believe some of my favorites are in there.

So I beat Super Metroid for the second time ever today. Sadly, it was only at 94%. I looked everywhere for the remaining items that I was missing, but I couldn't find them. I know I could've looked up where they were, and I did that for some of the ones I needed help finding. But I actually had been playing it on and off over the last few weeks, and I couldn't exactly remember which items I had and had not gotten already. I thought it was just a common cold or something that would get out of my system by now, but it has now been with me for the last five days. And my temperature is slowly going up by the day.
