If I started logging onto my BZ-public AIM name (Scurvy Smeag) again, would I regret it? I've been considering it. (PS, I haven't forgotten about part 2 of "A Tremendous Journey"; I've just been busy. It'll go up this weekend hopefully)
So now that the dust is settling and I’m back into the swing of things at home and work, I feel ready to detail the great adventure I had at the beginning of this month. DeeVee teased the trip and left a beautiful photo over in his blog, but only here will you find the full details (ha ha, just kidding; we will never ever disclose the full details of that week's beautiful depravity on BZPower ). 'Twas an adventure that spanned an entire continent, in which I set foot in six different states,

On this Christmas, it's important to remember the reason for the season. Which is an annual, gradual change in the tilt of Earth's axis. It is technically also the reason for all seasons.

Sometimes I wonder what assumptions people have about me based on people I associate with, or used to associate with. I wonder how many of those assumptions are false. I'm curious. Feel free to tell me here everything you know, feel, and assume about me, both positive and negative. I'd also be interested in hearing things you used to think/assume about me that later or recently have been shown to be false. I want to know how I am perceived and how I have been perceived!

The mare bent her neck down gracefully and snatched a tuft of verdant grass with her broad, flat teeth. Fine drops of dew misted her lips as she pulled the grass from the dirt and into her mouth, lifting her head again as she begin to chew. It was a cool, summer morning and the sun was just cresting over the trees that framed the pasture, edging its way into the slate sky and heralding a mild warmth cast upon the mare’s palomino b
...but I really, really love Bryan (aka Makaru). He is the best dude of all dudes and continually proves this.
I think this is like, my third Bryan Appreciation Thread. Discuss how he is the greatest.
I love Moby-Dick by Herman Melville, because it is a beautiful masterpiece of literature and it inspires me.
I also love really awful movies, because they are hilarious and I laugh at them.
Thanks to Gail Simone's Twitter feed, I've discovered something that seems to be made specifically for me.

My god where can I find a copy of this?? I need to see it, and own it. I know it will be so horribly bad.
What am I even doing posting this what am I even talking about what, how is this even pertinent anyway huh?
Although I do have a secret desire, to record this song, but release two versions: one, where I sing it as-is, and the second, with a woman singing it, and changing it to 'Tell Him About It.' Because it'd be doing my part to help smash the gender binary, and exorcise that ridiculous notion that 'the man has to make the first move; women can't go asking men out on dates or be the one to

We recorded this in his apartment back in December with a silly cheap microphone. And we have a heck of a good time.

I was browsing Brickset and, out of curiosity, decided to see if I could remember every Lego set I've ever owned in these nearly-22 years of my life thus far. Since they're all laid out there by year, this was easy and quick - a simple matter of just scrolling through and jotting down ones I remembered having. I know I do have more Lego bricks than what I've gleaned from these sets, because I know I had regular old Lego blocks in my infancy, as well as some old 80s space pieces, but I don't th
[Yo, brony. The first frame originally mentioned a site with forums, but instead of just drafting this and making you fix it yourself, I shooped it out fer ya. B) *brohoof* -Takuma Nuva]

This is a combined cover of the Yoko Ono songs 'Every Man Has a Woman Who Loves Him,' 'Every Man Has a Man Who Loves Him,' and 'Every Woman Has a Woman Who Loves Her.' Since we, the members of Taped Headphones, support love no matter where you are on the Kinsey scale, we thought it was a relevant and appropriate sentiment.

I wasn't a bad guy, no matter how often they said I was. No matter how often I wanted to believe I was.
Three weeks now? Or is it four? Weird, man.
Weird.
I miss it terribly but I think I know now that I don't want it back.
Not anymore. And I'm not bitter or angry. Maybe a little wiser.
So, the world again. Huh.
I'm not quite sure what to do now. It's intimidating and yeah, it's been sad, but it's exciting in a way too. Maybe there'll be some mIrAcLeS. Maybe there'll b
