My break is unfortunately coming to an end and soon it will be time to go back to classes. It's been a fun few weeks though, I've been able to hang out with my friends a lot and catch up from the past semester. But now it's come to saying goodbyes again. Only a few of us are left, and I go back this coming weekend. It will be a change, getting used to a semi-rigid schedule again, we'll see how it goes.
While I'm not enjoying the company of my compadres I've been enjoying a bunch of other thin
I've been meaning to add an entry here for about three weeks now. As most of you know, I am attending college right now, but after this past winter break, I did not go back to campus. Three weeks ago, I began an internship at Hunter Douglas, make of window coverings. I work in their IT department, configuring computers, maintaining servers, and doing general tech support. It's not the most exciting job, but it is very informative and pays well. I'm also taking a night course at school one day a
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey comes out in theaters next month, based on one of my favorite books of all time. I am super pumped. So of course I want to reread the book before the movie to have it fresh in my mind. The question is - which version should I read? I have a copy of the mass market paperback (not that exact version) that I got in sixth grade. I've read it countless times and it's definitely seen better days, but it certainly has some sentimental value. I've also got a nice
If you had the opportunity to ask LEGO a question, what would you ask? Similarly, is there anything you'd like to ask TLG's very own Kevin Hinkle? I hear he's a pretty big deal. Post in the comments or send me a PM with your question. No guarantees that you'll get and answer (or one you'll like) but I'll try.
Alright, time to clear some things up. If you have heard anything to the contrary, unhear it. Pictures of ponies from the TV show, 'My Little Pony,' including 'wet mane' images, are not banned on BZPower, so long as they abide by BZPower rules. The content of pictures, as well as captions or comments relating to them, can make any image inappropriate. This site is not the place for sexual content or themes, so keep that off the site. I apologize for any of the confusion that arose in the p
Well, no one seemed to like my idea so I guess we'll toss it down the drain. Oh well.
In other news, it's amazing sometimes how a few select members think they're being treated unfairly because they don't get Premier Perks. The system is there to reward those who help keep the site running, not to take away from others.
That is all.
Good night.

Brickfair is over, so now it's back to the grind. Let's see what we have in store.
Updates
First thing I'd like to do is mention a poll I recently started: The Future Of Bionicle Videogames. We haven't had the best of luck in this department over the years, but with TT Games' popular Lego games that have been coming out over the past few years and Lego Universe on the horizon, maybe it's a good time to get Lego thinking about a new Bionicle game. I'm looking for your interest and feed

It's that time again. You guessed it! It's time for our Weekly Update! Hooray!
Updates
First off, and let me make this very clear:
Do NOT post The Legend Reborn spoilers AT ALL until September 29th.
Additionally, and I thought this would be obvious:
Downloading movies online is ILLEGAL. Do not post links to downloads or discuss them on BZPower.
So, anyway, the BrickFair coverage has finally been going up. We have a long summary of the event, the second episode of the Power

Man, it's been a crazy week trying to juggle all of my priorities, but I think my true colors have finally been revealed. Man, there's about thirty other people who would probably find that statement hilarious, but none of them are here. So instead, a Weekly Update!
Updates
I should call this week the week of Pat, because he's been on a roll. He tore through a Corroder review earlier in the week, once again showing off his fantastic photography skills. Then he showed up in the most re

No blog-posting programs tonight. Apparently using them means my entries don't get sent to the RSS feed, so we'll have to do some more research into that. But anyway, here's this week's update.

First off, check out this news story and go vote in the RPG Contest Final Poll. Then you can start playing in the RPGs come Monday once the polls close and the winners have been chosen.

Wow this week flew by. Lucky for you that means the Weekly Update comes faster.

Biggest news this week is of course the new Bionicle sets that were found on Target's website. Some other pictures were found on Flickr, but have since been removed. I have some thoughts on the sets, they're interesting in their own way. Buy that's a discussion for another time. 2010 is getting close though...
We had a review of Vastus by our very own Darth Vader. More reviews to come soon about

Welcome back, one and all, to this week's wonderful update. In the spirit of mixing things up I think we're going to have a little chat tonight.

So Gatanui continued to provide information about the Hero Factory TV series as it aired in Germany. I have more that I need to post, but it's been a busy week.
We also had another set review, courtesy of ChocolateFrogs. Those Atlantis sets sure seem to be pretty popular.

This past week we had two set reviews. Kaxium V3 was reviewed by Hahli Husky and was quickly followed by an amazing group review of Mata Nui. Be sure to give them both a read and watch the video review of Mata Nui (and the two bonus reviews that we did because we love you guys so much).
Let's not forget that this Tuesday was the release date of Bionicle: The Legend Reborn in the United States. Personally, I'm looking f

We also had another member creation spotlight on the front page, Toa Cehk's Final Ownage. Be sure to check it out, and watch for more member creations - yours could be next!

Another week, another update. Not a whole lot to report on, but we'll make some stuff up anyway.

So, first and foremost, a former staff member has returned to grace us with his presence on the staff once again. This crazy Aussie is helping us out in BBC and GD, so watch out if you want to break the rules in there. It's good to have another familiar face back on the team.
Also, we have an RPG Contest going on that I realized I haven't shamelessly advertised in here yet. So

I'd like to thank everyone using the 'remember-usa' avatar today. We have all changed since 9/11, but we will never forget.

There's been a bunch of video updates for The Legend Reborn this week, so many, in fact, that I'm not going to even link to them. Just check out the front page. There's been some interesting footage in these videos that really has me looking forward to the movie coming out on September 15th. Four more days.

Another week spent offline. It makes me sad.

This week was full of milestones for me. On Sunday I celebrated my eighth anniversary of joining BZPower. Wednesday was my 22nd birthday. Yesterday I celebrated my eighth year as a staff member of this fine site. Darn I'm old...
So other than the forums being offline still, we did manage to get two set reviews posted. Shannara took a look at Kiina and Bfahome shared his thoughts on Skopio. We have a couple more reviews in the pi

The BrickFair coverage has begun! (Slow though it may be.) If you haven't already you MUST watch the Safari. Nukaya was amazing, and of course cameraman Pat was rock solid.
