As you well know, love is a thing which captivates many a person. People often go so far as to speculate pairings between fictional characters. I admit that I myself believe in many of these pairings, such as Takanuva+Gali (still love that Greg made her the first one Takanuva asked about in Dark Mirror, Onewa+Krahka, and Jaller+Hahli. I was just listening to some BIONICLE movie soundtracks on BioMedia Project. While it's good for a nostalgia kick, I'm finding that much of the music is just as generic as I remembered. I don't mean that in the sense that it's not memorable or distinctive. It definitely checks both of those boxes. Icarax's head is attached in a way that is nothing short of ridiculous. Never should a Metru head be used with the Kraahkan in the angled configuration. LEGO has apparently attained the mistaken belief that the Kongu Mahri eyepiece will let them get away with any sort of head issues. Well, LEGO, that's not correct. The Kongu Mahri eyepiece is an opportunity to do things you couldn't do with older eyepieces, but NOT an opportunity to do things you could do but would look terrible.

I'm back from Family Camp at Camp Alleghany in West Virginia with my... err... family, and life is good! Let me update you on some stuff that might interest y'all.

Earlier I was looking at how this year's Hero Factory sets compare to similarly-priced BIONICLE sets in terms of complexity. Turns out they fare rather well. So the new header is cool. There could be improvement (some space between Tohu and the BZPower text could help, and it's a bit weird having the text and image overlaid on the dark blue stripe rather than above it vertically), but for me it represents the dynamic status of BZPower as a whole as it changes from strictly a BIONICLE site into something that, in my opinion, better celebrates BIONICLE's lasting influence. From the new PICTURE REVIEW IN THE SETS FORUM (No link! Quick, everyone, make haste!), the titan-sized Mata Nui met all of my expectations. Overall decent color scheme (except the gold, which seems from pics to irredeemably clash with everything else), BEAUTIFUL build (except the shoulders, which would have been questionable on Takanuva and are really pathetic here), and an ingenious piston style.

... how to use preexisting footage from a DVD *coughWebofShadowscough* for a music video? I'm trying to make a Bionicle music video on Windows Movie Maker (I know it's cheap, but what can I say; it came with the computer), but I can't find a way to save the movie footage I need to my computer.
