I've recently been compiling piece lists for Phantoka versions of Tahu's half of the team. While I can't MOC these or even perfectly envision them until the Mistika come out along with the parts I need, I've managed to make some crucial decisions based on such mundane statistics as number of new parts, number of parts in new colors, and overall number of parts.

Why do people seem to think that it's EVER OK to say this or something remotely similar? I don't care if it's about an official BIONICLE product or an MOC-- to say this is to insult anyone who worked on this (unless, of course, they are less than five years old, in which case it means you're impressed).

From the new PICTURE REVIEW IN THE SETS FORUM (No link! Quick, everyone, make haste!), the titan-sized Mata Nui met all of my expectations. Overall decent color scheme (except the gold, which seems from pics to irredeemably clash with everything else), BEAUTIFUL build (except the shoulders, which would have been questionable on Takanuva and are really pathetic here), and an ingenious piston style.
