Frost Rising Is Back!

Remember that entry where I said I would not be continuing my epic, Frost Rising? Well, I changed my mind.   You heard right. Chapter VIII of Frost Rising is up, thanks to my realization that the story so far was good, and that finishing my half-completed chapter was easier than surpassing something that I myself wrote not too long ago. Believe me, this story is one that is so wonderful to me I can't keep myself from writing it, no matter how much I may hate the process of doing so at times.

Bbc #45 Entry: Complete!

Does Anyone Know...

... how to use preexisting footage from a DVD *coughWebofShadowscough* for a music video? I'm trying to make a Bionicle music video on Windows Movie Maker (I know it's cheap, but what can I say; it came with the computer), but I can't find a way to save the movie footage I need to my computer. Is this even possible? Thanks in advance.   With all due respect, Aanchir: Rachira of Time

Bbc45 Progress

UPDATE: I'm probably not going to make Shine. I want to give Tufi as much space in the entry pic as possible, and doing Shine would require that I edit in a demonstration of the transformation.   For the first time in a long time, I am entering an official contest. For BBC45, I have nearly finished an MOC of Tufi. It has a twist that I hope will help me to win this contest, but you'll have to wait until I post it to find out. The remainder of the parts I need will likely come in today or tomorr

Frost Rising Updates

Dear Readers,   If you were intrigued by the title of this entry, I apologise for having forced you to wait so long for updates to Frost Rising. It upsets me that you will have to wait even further for updates to Matoro's story, but thankfully a new prospect is soon to arise.   You see, Frost Rising never became what I envisioned. I pictured a Harry Potter-esque tale of a Matoran who must uncover various mysteries in training for an important role, whilst at the same time joining his friends t

Greetings, Everypeoples!

I'm back from Family Camp at Camp Alleghany in West Virginia with my... err... family, and life is good! Let me update you on some stuff that might interest y'all.   First and foremost, I GOTS THE MAHRI! Certainly, this happened before I left on Saturday, but I hadn't the time then to make a blog entry. So far, my favorite Mahri in terms of both sets and story are Kongu and Matoro. You can probably expect some Mahri drawings soon.   Also, I have now read both Eragon and Eldest, as well as The

Everyone Turn Your Attention...

...to this post   In every topic that relates to your personal opinion of a set, one person seems to come up with the excuse that "such-and-such isn't true BIONICLE." Why is this? Because some people are so insistent upon having sets follow tradition that they have to make excuses for why the present is not a criterion in the future's tradition.   I'm not trying to discredit the topic starter in particular, but rather the whole illusion that "some sets are more BIONICLE than others."   I hope

Maj Down Too?

Right as I was preparing to "pimp my blog," I discovered something terrible. All of my folders on Maj... were empty. The other folders were like this as well. I reported it to the news, making no assumptions in case it was merely a fluke, but after returning to Maj I found not the returned folder content, but rather a worse situation: The folders themselves were gone as well!!! If this proves to be a fluke, I will be happy, but as it is I think we ought to brace ourselves for the worst.   EDIT:

Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes

Believe it or not, I am a fan of things that are not miserable, depressing, or V.F.D. related. Here I am not speaking of Bionicle, even though anyone who knows me should know that that is my primary creative outlet. I am here speaking of Pokémon.   On July the First I acquired a copy of Pokémon Diamond, whereas Lyi picked up Pokémon Pearl (I love that they come out with these in sets of three-- It makes it easy to keep my two brothers and me satisfied). From now on you may see me post some Poké

A Note On Contests

Dear Readers, It has come to my attention that I have recently recieved an award for my blog. Like mobs, warnings, or TV news broadcasts, contests often are an excuse to draw necessary attention to an unpleasant truth of life that most would be happier to avoid. Such is not the case here, however, for there is no reason that the contents of this blog are necessary or even safe for reading by the general public. I believe it is my duty to redirect you to blogs that might be found to be more jovi

~ Hic Est Dies Nostrorum Mortum ~

Although I haven't mentioned it until now, last Tuesday was my school's Latin Banquet. The idea is as follows:   All Latin students can attend. Latin I students (and also some Latin II students this year) are "slaves," and are "owned" by Latin II, Latin III, and AP Latin students. Slave owners can make the slaves do anything within reason for them (i.e. anything legal, ranging from refilling your drink to running around the tables with a smelly sock, screaming, "I'VE GOT THE MAGIC SOCK!"). Joke Over.

Some things are either too important or too dangerous to give up, and V.F.D. is sadly one of them. The Sugar Bowl's back, with as much misery and overall danger as before.   With all due respect, Aanchir: Rachira of Time

I dunno, it seems that working for V.F.D. is a bit of a gloomy pasttime. This blog is hereby dedicated to all the unicorns and fuzzy animals that everyone loves.   With fun and peanuts, Aanchir: Rachira of FUN!

What Will Tomorrow Hold?

Not only on this site, but on the Lemony Snicket official site. (I am forbidden to post the address, since it has links to sites with forums, but shame on you if you can't guess.)   Here's what I got last year in an email from those delightful folks at HarperCollins: So who knows what tomorrow might hold!   With all due respect, Aanchir: Rachira of Time

What Fun!

Tomorrow's my birthday! Which means tomorrow's Lyichir's birthday as well!   I really am not doing much to celebrate, although I am going to Rome over spring break. But as of right now, I should be available tomorrow.   Just thought I'd keep you informed, since I'm such a new member.   -

Too Bad.

It appears I won't be entering this BBC contest either. Ever since Dad cleaned the basement (that's where we keep all of our LEGO stuff), the box where we keep Bionicle armor has been missing. Of course, I have plenty in my room, but not enough to make the MOC I was intending to make, a Toa Metru Kaita. I've made one before that was pretty good, so I was confident in my ability to make another, but as it is, it seems very unlikely that it will be ready for this contest.   This is the third offi

Paul The Bunyan <--wat?

Tubular Bells will have to wait. I can't put this entry off one second.   I just was goofing off one day when I did this. You'll probably have to expand the image to read it.   And no, I wasn't trying to type "Paul Bunyan." Paul the Bunyan is some random drawing someone drew in my Technical Theatre class for use in a skeleton set. They're a good artist, but this drawing certainly didn't show it. But forgive me; I'm getting off-topic.   I might someday create the page, just because it says I c

Very Unfortunate

Dear Readers, What could be more unfortunate than Aanchir submitting an ASOUE-related artwork for AC13? I'll tell you... Aanchir not submitting an ASOUE-related artwork for AC13. Yes, I realize that I turned down the chance to celebrate everyone's favorite unlucky number, but Lyichir and I have just been unable to pull ourselves together and finish our entry. With any luck , which does not come frequently in the life of a volunteer, I will be able to complete an artwork with this contest's conc

Number 13

Dear Readers, Here we are at the thirteenth art contest, which is undeniably the most unfortunate art contest so far. To celebrate, Lyichir and I are preparing a special, Mahri-Nui themed artwork. Be prepared.   While you wait, be sure to check out my far less threatening Lemon Club Challenge entry.   With all due respect, Aanchir: Rachira of Time

Self-portrait

Unlike some authors whose faces are never seen, I have taken the liberty of showing my real appearance to the public, despite the dangers that such a decision may pose to my life or my organization. However, I am confidsent that anyone who has remained loyal to this blog is either a volunteer or an innocent, chronically depressed bystander. If you are a villain, I advise you to read no further, since the picture in the following link is not that of the elusive Aanchir, but rather that of a harml

Vicious Facial Displays

Dear Reader, If you have paid attention to the world around you over the course of your life, you are probably well aware that certain unpleasant characteristics are to be found on the faces of many people, just as they are to be found on many people's left ankles. The Baudelaire orphans were exempt from many of these conditions, having inherited their mother's pleasant facial features, but sadly, there are many who do suffer from such unfortunate facial features. Shiny eyes, for instance, are

To All Of Those Artists Out There

I need some advice. I have recently made another attempt at making a permanent Human-styled Bionicle topic. However, it is not doing so well, since it is already on the second page and I, being the last poster, can not bring it back to the first page when I upload new art. My question is how do you make a permanent artwork topic? Lady Kopaka, Brave Dragon, and Nikira each have compiled their artwork in topics that do amazingly welll at staying alive, as have many other members. If you have a per

Aanchir's Topic Archive

As the topic suggests, I have created a Topic Archive content block. This block links to all my relevant topics, which include MOCs, artwork, and stories but omit any answered questions or disproven theories (including my far-too-hopeful Aquaraiders theory from a while back). If anyone remembers any topics I have neglected to include, post it here. Remember, you are my last hope that the creative abilities of Aanchir: Rachira of Time can be shown to the general public.   With all due respect,
