Hey another anime entry from a guy who's getting into this but is still a newby to the whole American fanbase culture. Take it as you like, here are my thoughts. If you don't trust the future Continue with that force What is left to learn now So do it And when you look there's someone That's running by my side Spirit inspiration No I can't lose So the latest Anime that I started following is Zetsuen no Tempest. The anime itself is intriguing. I like the basic plo
I dunno if anybody's heard of it, but it's this internet video podcast about green and environmental stuff and all. But it's political and sometimes references "adult material" that a college student will find amusing.
Anyway, they were doing this quick blurb on green artistry, and they had a couple of images of "sculptures from the masters of reusable art products: Lego!" Mostly just the boring human sculptures, like the guy ripping open his chest and bricks falling out. (I've seen that a
Neh, isn't the greatest picture, since my camera's flash no longer works, but you get the idea.
Onto other news, I've updated my blog a bit, by adding BBC entries and their votes to the sidebar list (note, the links don't work, since I've deleated most of my brickshelf before the site deleats itself.) Maybe if I find another image hosting site, I'll relink them all. I also added a few comedy and short stories I've written to my list. What I really need to do is update my Library topic... o
You get excited when "Le-Koro Band Final" or "Lewa vs Onua Uncut" plays on your iPod.
And when both Kumo Rocks and The Bionicle Music (Powerpack) are in your top 25 most played songs play list.
And strangely, the song "Rip It Up" by Jet has been surpassed by "I've Just Seen a Face" by Jim Sturgess and "Story of My Life" by Smash Mouth (respectively) in play count. But it's still in third, above "Already Gone" by the Eagles.
Yes, it it too late at night and I am paying way too much atte
You have failed this city. by Jason, on Flickr Lookie at me, I made a Bionicle MOC! It's been a while. So this will fit with the BZPower colab of Super Hero characters, and I got it finished in time for BricksCascade next month. The system to technic ratio would probably put it over the limit for any BBC contests, but that's not an issue at conventions. Plus, the simple building façade makes use of most of my dark red masonry bricks, so yay that.
Here's an idea for an epic...
Okay, so I no longer have my own computer. I lost all my stories, although I have some of my Bionicle stories still saved on my home computer... (SoMN) I probably won't get another computer until after x-mas... you know, when they go on sale and such (if there's anything left) Despite my being irresponsible towards the safety of my electronics, I'll probably get lots of it replaced because we are getting insurance money from it.
Anyway, when I feel that I n
Heroes Spoilers. Beware.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «HIRO DIDN'T KILL ANDO!!
Haven't even finished the show yet, but that part is soo cool. Will update more of my thoughts later.
Yes, and Hiro and Ando are yet again on the path to "save the world"... I hope.
And I hope Parkman and his turtle go far. Really, at the end of season II, I was sure Parkman was gonna become one of the "villains." But it looks like he's staying on the right side (considering his dad
Backstory: About three years ago, I purchased a Panasonic analog camcorder for my senior project. (I probably wrote about it here, back before people read this blog) Being an analog, it works with a tape instead of a CD or DVD or microchip... because, back then, that kind of technology still offered the best quality for video editing. (My initial idea for my senior project was to shoot a short movie).
Unfortunately, even though the product description said we could use a
I could describe this year in a few words... but most of them would be filtered here. I'm an angry person.
I could complain about all my problems, but I'll narrow it down to a few. I went to the doctor again for my foot. Cursed ingrown toe nail. I have like $60 in Fred Meyers giftcards, but their Lego selection is pretty pathetic in the after-Christmas season. Hmm. I'm coming to the point where I either continue on in school or drop out. It all depends on my next semester. Nobody's re
I'm all aboard this new Epics Contest with my Chapter Entry in Slizers on Mata-Nui. Jet, Torch, and Ski get to fight out again the cat-like Sunari. While it contains alot of action and power attacks, I wouldn't rate it as my best chapter or battle. But I think it's pretty good for including a character randomly... and I threw in some exceptionally witty comments. I hope that the judges enjoy it... whoever they are. Having been a Judge for the first Poetry contest, I know how fun the secrecy
Hi. I'm trying to advance in Lego's Newest Game, MY Lego Network. I could use some trades, and I have plenty of stuff I can trade as well.
You can find me under two user names. First, there's xccj01, my original account. I also have control of gali4174, which was my sister's account but she has stopped using it.
I am currently trying to reach rank 10 on both my accounts. I need plenty of Nebular crystals, as well as any spare Mantles or Gauntlets banners (which I need to make white /
I think it was CF who suggested I watch this series. (Or maybe I just got it from reading his blog, I dunno) Anyway, Netflix has a couple of series of X Men, so I decided to watch some. I remember the show a bit from the 90s and I wasn't too into that. The movies that I've seen have been okay, so I decided to watch the cartoon from 2001 or something. Anyway, it's addictive good. Lots of fun to watch. My favorite characters are ShadowCat and NightCrawler. Truth be told, I really don't li
LAtely I've been having this strange problem typing. I've had problems with keyboards in the past, from M keys that don't respond to my laptop randomly moving me up a line so I'm typing in the middle of a word... stuff like that. BUt this new thing is really odd, and I can't figure out if it's something wrong with the keyboard or just with me. ANyway, when I'm typing I'll hit the "shift" key at the start of a sentence to capitalize the first letter of the word, but as I continue to type I loo
Sadly, this is not an entry about NaNo.
Instead, I was informaed last week that, in order to register for classes as a new transfer student, I had to take a writing placement test, oh, and BTW, the last one for the quarter is on Monday. So it was high school all over again; sitting down and writting quickly on a random subject for two hours. I hate writing like that; I didn't go into computer science without a reason, you know. I prefer to type. Because midway through my hand was aching
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I have this ongoing project of rewriting a bunch of my stories that I lost when my laptop was stolen years ago. It’s crazy, since it’s been 7-8 years since that incident, and I still have a backlog of stories I want to redo. But I’m also revisiting them, updating them, improving them, ext, so it’s a lengthy process. Add to the fact that I don’t exactly have a ton of free time anymore to write, but I get inspired in short spurts, and make a little progress h
There's so much nifty stuff that goes on for staff that I never knew about beforehand...
Like did you know they're plotting to take over the world? They're only in the beginning stages right now, but it's really exciting. The overall plan is... wait a second, somebody's knocking on my door. It looks like it's Black Six...
Having never been to a private Lego convention before, I didn't quie know what to expect of the schedule for BrickCon, but it seems I'll be missing most of the presentations on Friday because I have early afternoon classes...
Apparently, somebody tried to break into my parent's house this morning, and they fell through the roof and the cops showed up and everything. My sister was later for school, but that was okay because they were already in a lock down because this guy was on the loose. I heard he tried to break through our roof and into the attic... except we don't have an attic, so when he almost fell into our living room, he got up and fell on our deck, where he was trapped until the police came and took him
