So the only images I've appeared in (for the most part) are either group images or ones where I'm in the background. Which is all the better... I look horrible in photographs. (And I assume in person, although I don't have to look at that so it doesn't bother me)

I'm catching the fever known as "WANT MOAR LEGO Bricks!" I have birthdays and Christmas coming up, and the latest holiday cataglouge sparked it up again. Plus, I have some money coming in now, so I'm not a total freeloader anymore. So maybe I could somehow treat myself to one of the larger sets from this year. I don't want many... just one. Sometimes it infuriates me about how people form cliques and such and really do their best to distance others. High school is the prime example. I never seemed to fit in with any particular crowd even though I hung out with them: the popular kids in the AP classes, the drama students in the school play, the slacker students who sat in the corner during lunch. It was always like I was an outside observing, and if I tried to give input it was ignored or refuted.

Every event has Brick Badges, which are usually made out of engraved bricks. My problem with them is that they tend to break easily, so for Bricks Cascade I designed a reinforced badge that held together fairly well. (Sure, the bottom bricks did break off at one point and fall into an elevator shaft... but I have since dealt with that weak point.) As such, I was surprised when Kakaru informed me that this years BrickCon Badges are merely 1x6x5 bricks with printing on them. Totally lame, b

Touch screen? Seriously, I don't see the benefit of these. You'll touch the screen and it'll get all mucky and full of finger prints. My laptop screen is like that, and I try very hard not to touch it too much. No, touch screens don't appeal to me.

One of the better deals I found while attending BrickCon was the mini figure pick-a-brick table. I've gone there during public conventions before... basically buy one fig for $5... kinda expensive, considering they don't have that extensive of a collection. Okay, so one of my stories introduced powered talisman partway through, based on powers seen in Bionicle, as well as that old Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon. My old roommate moved out at the end of winter quarter. He signed up in a fraternity, so he could party more than in the dorms. I joined the hiking club as soon as I came to this university, and they've only been on three hikes since I've been here. And guess what... all the hikes are on Friday! No weekend adventures... it's only for those liberal arts students who are taking lame classes that let out on Friday.

Anyway, I'm currently on Fire Fox right now, and I can't say I greatly enjoy it. Yeah, it has tabs, but there's no single button to create a new one (IE has that). And the bookmarks tab is inconveniently placed... Plus, I can "drag" images when I click on them... why? Why would I have to do that? I'm fine with "copy / paste". It's annoying.
I am also typing this blog in the middle of one of my programming lectures. Yay for laptops.
Yes, yes, paranoid people copy their posts before they hit "post new entry." I do that half the time myself, but sometimes I'm just so eager that I forget, and then the Board Message looms down on me like a dark cloud... or an evil pinkish message that no longer has cool jokes in it.
But here's what irks me.
I post in a topic, and I get the board message. Sometimes, I can backspace, and get the original post all written out still, where I then copy and paste. Or, sometimes, I can't get
