Advertising My Bbc 40 Entry

Because there's no other way to draw attention and/or reviewers to it.   Anyway, if you have a spare moment and want to look at MOCs of mine, please check out this topic. It's the Matoran Prophesier, for BBC 40: Prudence. (At first, I put it under Temperence, but then I realized I got the words mixed around and switched it... and had to redo a bunch of my picts. Uhg). Anyway, it's a small but solid Matoran design I came up with a while back. It's actually a mix between two Matoran MOCs..

Add Hours

There is not enough time in the day to play computer games and get my three-odd school completed too. And, of course, I did mostly the former. Did make some juice for my Spanish class, though. Aguas frescas. It tastes a little bland to me, but maybe I'm just not a good cook.   Now to go waste the rest of the night in front of the... uh, schoolbooks. Yeah.

What I Hate About Inika Assult

I mean, it's a great game and all. But the load time takes longer than the actual game. You can never tell when the loading will finish. Seriously, sometimes the loading takes longer after the bar has filled then while it is filling. It really annoys me.   Then there's when the whole thing freezes, usually around the Reidak and Zaktan levels. It starts loading, and then just stops.   The game is difficult and all, but if the game would load correctly and/or faster, I'm sure I could finish

No Books For You! Yet...

Inspired by the anouncement in this topic, I visited the local Borders and Barns & Nobles stores. No Bionicle Legends Six. Ha, in Borders, they were all sold out of Bionicle Legend Books. So, on the west coast, the books are coming out so early.   It's funny. It feels like it's the middle of Janurary already- I just seem to have so much going on. But really, its only the third day of the year. I have a feeling this month is going to be very long and tedious... :annoyed2:   And the Bi

Looking Back And Forward (at The Same Time?)

Another year of Bionicle and BZPower is over. 2006 was a rather interesting year for me, both on BZPower and off. Unfortunately, it may well be my last full year.   First of all, the Bionicle toy line was amazing this year. Other people may not agree, but I think it is the best story line since the Toa Mata. The Piraka and Toa Inika sets were all great, still relatively similar but with enough differences to make them not clones. The Voya-Nui Matoran were also amazing builds. I bought all

I Need A Titles For This Entry

Just wondering, is anybody even reading those Epic Reports I'm coming up with? Or is there just nothing to say after the fact? Maybe they're just too long and scare any readers away...   Anyway, I'm back on BZP. The holidays are over. I now have all the Toa Inika (got Matoro for Christmas) and I have some funds that I can use to pick up a few Matoran Mahri later on. Mostly, I got a bunch of candy (and I had no cavities before Christmas... maybe that's changed) but I also got some books. M

A Bionicle Christmas

The season demands it. I must advertise this epic again. For every classic has to return year after year... now I just need to turn this epic into a classic...     Bio: Christmas Time has fallen on the Matoran of Mata-Nui, and for once the holiday can be celebrated in peace, as the Toa Nuva have defeated all foes. The Toa Santa arrives as legends said, and he planned to bring each Matoran a special present. However, his journey is cut short when an evil Rahi known as the Grinch shows up a

The Beast Within

That new Island Assult game, besides being too difficult for me to play, seems to have hidden images in it. I think Lego has something coming up in Bionicle that involves... a bear!   See the evidence for yourself.   Yes, there is no doubt that the shadowy bear is to be the next big thing happening on Voya-Nui. Maybe they must wake the bear from its hibernation to reawake Mata-Nui... or maybe it's all a coincidence? Who can tell?   No me.

Rain, Sleet, And Snow

... and ice, wind, lack of electricity...   And, no, I do not want to be a mail man.   The weather in this part of the country has been wacky the last few days. Last night, we had this huge wind storm, where we had about 60 MPH winds blowing. We didn't lose any trees, but other people did (lots of fallen trees on the news). Our electricity also went out for a couple of hours, but I hear that other people had it out for the whole night. And then today, we were getting rain, sun, hail, sun,

I Wrote Something New.

My Newest Comedy   I don't ordinarily write comedies, but I threw this together over the last few weeks, based off the latest Legends book, Inferno. There are some spoilers, so beware. I think I can post spoilers, since the book has been officially released, right?   Please read, and I hope you get a few laughs out of it. And reply...

Clean...

It's rainy outside, cold, and in the middle of December.   My dad made me wash the car today?   Let me repeat that it is the middle of December.   And we do not live in California.   I used lots of hot water, yet I still got drenched. Luckily, it didn't rain. The car will just get muddy again when they take it out next, though.

Bogus Stuff

Have you ever had to give some sort of information that you wish you could just completely make up on the spot? Like, instead of giving your real name and address, so they can find a way to contact/bug you later on, you give them something that leads them nowhere?   Well, if you haven't, maybe you're normal. But I have. And I'll just prodive an example of what I thought would be an ideal bogus address. So it's...   Xccj 13579 NS 123 ST. Townsville, East Dakota 98765   As far as I know,

I Entered A Bbc Contest!

Aren't you just so happy?   Well, I hardly ever go in BBC anymore to post anything (because like whatever I have is always critizied. I've been out for the last 3-4 years, even though I've entered sooo many BBC contests.   Anyway, if you want to view my entry and (Mata-Nui forbid) reply on it, you can view the topic here.   And if you see it in the polls and nothing else draws your eyes, you could also vote for it tooo! *wink* *wink*   And yes, I have a very low self esteme when I'm dealin

I Alert Thee

It's 1:00 in the Morning, and I just finished with my English assignment. It's this vocab thingy. I have to find two examples of literature that abide by the rule of the specific vocab word, list them, MLA cite them, and then explain them. And I have to do this for 48 words. And I've had two weeks to work on it... to bad I spent those weeks working on my play (which went well, that's another entry, though). So, technically, I'm only half done with the project, because each vocab word has on

After The Show...

What's the best thing to do after a sucsessful play?   Go to a restaraunt with the entire cast and order dinner.   We pretty much swamped the place (didn't help that another High School Drama Club also showed up.... coincidence?) We all had milkshakes and food, and some of the stories told were very entertaining. Now, I'm not one of the popular kids, but if that's what they do all the time, then they must have fun.   And also have alot of cash. Since I have a tight budget, I normally don't

Going Crazy

I just had to inform you via blog entry.       Anyway, I do have a reason. The last couple of weeks have been winding down for the play I'm in, and I've spent the last few weekdays staying at the school over the afternoon practicing. The practice tonight went from about 2 PM to 10 PM... so I have thus had plenty of time to be creative and all.   Anyway, I'm playing Bob Cratchet in "A Christmas Carol". Opening night is tomorrow. I have about 21 hours left. Now I can either start freak

Scientific Inquiry

Observation: Boy, it sure has rained a lot lately.   Connection: It also rained a lot in the beginning of the movie “The Day After Tomorrow”, right before the freak snow hurricane that flash-froze the northern hemisphere.   Inference: Since its rained a lot lately, it can only be a prologue to a giant snowstorm that’s the effect of Global Warming which will bring freezing cold air down out of the upper atmosphere and turn us all into human popsicles.   Conclusion: Better type up this Blog ent

Super Speed!

Well, that really hasn't been me the past few days. I've read books (not fun ones either, mind you), slept in late (like til 12 Noon... but that's 'cause I stayed up til 3 AM... how will I ever get back to school time?) and felt pretty sluggish. Didn't get nearly any homework done. I was working on my CWG homeowrk tonight, and I found a stimulus for my sluggishmess.   Super speed music.   No, Windows Media Player has an option to play a song at 1.4 X speed (and 2X and 5X, but those just get

Another Song Fict.

It could've been my entry into SSC#3, but I didn't write it all out until now. So, if you want to read The Departure, please do. It uses the song "Land of Confusion" by Genesis, and tells of Jaller and the Gang leaveing Metru-Nui to go search for the Toa Nuva. So... yeah. Enjoy.   And read / review. That's the main reason I'm adding this entry.

I Won!

Well, not exactly win, but I got mentioned with Honor.   I got two out of three questions right in Greg's little contest, but I got to be a runner up in Short Story Contest #3. My songfict, based on a Tom Petty song and Nuparu's adventures as an Inika, was liked by enough judges that it made it in the winner's topic. I think that's good enough... I would prefer some more reviews, but there are certainly better authors than I. I was kinda surprised that T-Hybrid won again... not because his w

Wood Cuts

They have their ups and downs. They're a quick way to make alot of money, and they get you exersising. On the other hand, they take alot of time to complete, and the following day, you are very sore. I currently can't feel my wrists because they're numb with chopping wood with a sledge. Luckily, I don't have any essays to write... I just have to type them up. :annoyed2:

There's Another Lego Theme I'm Interested In.

Just browsing the Lego shop online, I saw these new theme; aqua raiders. I loved the aquanauts, which first got me hooked on Lego. I think I'll try to get a few of the new sets from these theme again... they look like the old aquanauts with some of the new elements Lego's introduced over the years. So I now have something I want other than Bionicles. (Yes, I just put that in the plural. Shoot me).   Oh, and my TD sequal is on chapter 5. I probably won't post it until I have about 10 chapt

How To Tell If You Procrastinate.

It's simple.   -You have a 15 page English Essay to write, and you've known about it for 3 months. -You decide your topic with 2 week to go (did I mention that we weren't given a prompt to begin with. AP classes, indeed) -You write up a thesis statement with 6 days to go. -You begin writing the actual essay with 3 days to go. -You go to school and brag about the massive amount of content you have while other people stress out. You laugh at them. This is a required step. -The night befor

Learning To Fly

Yep, I've finished my Short Story Contest #3 entry. Learning to Fly, a great song by Tom Petty. It's not classic rock, not new funky stuff. Just my kind of music. Oh, and the story is about Nuparu fighting Vezok for the first time, and using his Kadin mask. I actually think it's a rather good story, but people always have diverse opinions. Not that many of them matter... only the judge's opinions do. Unfortunatly, they're looking for the better writings, so...   If you have a spare minut

"inferno" Is Mine!

I managed to convinve my parents to drop me off at a Barns & Nobles today, and I went in and bought me a copy of the latest Bionicle Legends book! Yay! I'm considering it a birthday present to myself... and I read it. It was pretty good in many places, but it still left an odd taste in my mouth after having read it. But, as I learned with Power Play and Legacy of Evil, reading it the first time through doesn't make it seem as descriptive and exciting as when you've reread it a couple of
