If you're a Washingtonian, then happy Kasey Keller Day : D Since the majority of you are not, let me explain. Kasey Keller is the Goalkeeper of the Seattle Sounders FC, the Major League Soccer franchise in Seattle, WA. He is actually playing his final home game of his career tonight in Seattle, as he is retiring at the end of the season. At last count, over 60,000 supporters will be going to CenturyLink Field (our home stadium, shared with the Seahawks) to watch. We cap the stadium at around
First, I should add a Gaming category. I talk about games so much
Second, I think if they make a third game, the Turret King should be the boss. You know who I mean.
Imagine him crashing into a wall in a test chamber randomly. "I SEE YOU!" in a loud booming voice.
"ARE YOU STILL THERE?"
... "NAP TIME."
That would be epic to be chased by all game. I'd love to see his electronic eye point at you randomly in levels as he searches for you.
"THERE YOU ARE!"
And then, just for fu
Though not one you guys might consider "real." Basically, I'm getting questions about it on BS01; "Will there be vector logos of the new masks? What about the logo?" So I figure to try my hand and see what I thought. I'm quite happy with it, I think. The watermark's to preserve it until I decide what else to do with it. Thoughts are welcome, and I do plan to finish the other 5, the Protectors masks, and the two legendary masks.
So my area is now on a flood watch. Swell. Fortunately, they say it'll be minor flooding in the Puyallup River. In the meantime, to the BZP members in the Northeast of the US, stay safe and warm.
I just made my purchase of The Lego Movie off of Xbox Video, and it's downloading 7.3 GB to my 360 now. Soooo I guess I'll be watching it tomorrow night? Anybody else buying it digitally, or are you guys getting a physical copy?
Life is too crazy, everyone. So I now have about one month to immediately blitzkrieg build 8 new tall buildings, some Patent models, fix up our Monticello we have, plus some other minor things, then pack them all up and ship them freight to Florida and Michigan. I am very proud of one of my models, which I will be posting soonish. It's a recreation of the Lego model #10124 Wright Flyer Creator Expert, built in close to 1/2 its scale. My boss was so happy with it, he immediately photographed
So, I can safely say that despite my best efforts, Google AdSense still found a way to find SOMETHING relevant to me, either through Facebook or basic Amazon searches. Regardless, it found something to advertise that I may have been interested in: Buying tickets to go to the EMP Museum in Seattle to see the Block by Block exhibit they have there. Sounds interesting! Now I will first start by saying by all means, if you're in the great Pacific Northwest, go see it. Like seriously, go. Why do I
I am now the proud member of the Blue Lantern Corps, White Lantern Corps, and Indigo Tribe. Which side should I join next? I've got 6 to go (Green will be rather tricky to track down, so avoid it for now.)
On the plus side, I finished the campaign already (2 days' worth of work) and I now have about 30 days of quests, free play and mithril bricks to find x_x Oh, and IE10 pre-release. It has spellcheck built in : O which is new FOR IE. I know you FF/Chrome/Safari/others had it first. Fortunately I never needed it but it's nice to have.
Yes, it's The Flash. And yes, I -know- Queen made the song for Flash Gordon. Let me enjoy my music my own way >: O ... So yeah, Marvel next. Who should it be?
You know, I'm always playing video games, I'm always talking about video games, and I'm usually always bored. So, what's stopping me from making, in my blog, a BZP-friendly review of the current video games? (360 and PC only, of course.)
Naturally, I'd probably review my collection, not the new stuff. I'm not going to buy games just to review them
Now question becomes, would anybody want to read about a bored man's ramblings about CLASSIC VIDEO GAMES FROM... *checks* 2004?! (Oh, and I sup
I've been saying it for years, the only way I would get sick is if it had to drag me into a bed and find a way to keep me there. Well played, stomach bug. Making me so dizzy I can't even stand is indeed one way to keep me here. But by midnight tonight I will defeat you. I must.
This entry is everything but what the title says it is. So I'm snowed in. 7-8 inches of snow on my roads, and of course we're not used to it here in Washington. I'm certainly not used to it, but I love it nonetheless. I was scheduled to work today, in fact. Called my boss at 8 AM and he said "Yeah don't even risk it." I'm scheduled so far for Friday at the earliest now. BS01's host had some issues today, so we were down. Nothing was lost, it's all still there, and we're back. I promise it
I-I'm sorry I just had to ... Also I just woke up, hence why I'm so far behind. But I am at least original! (Also apparantly the most geeky, if nobody else thought of this one.)
Oh man. I did not even begin to imagine how fun that'd be. I mean, dude. Thanks go out to TNU, MI, KZN02, Avlok and some other guy I just met who isn't from BZP for the awesome game. MANN CO WAS SAVED! NOW GIMME MY MONEY!
Greetings everyone! So, that image? Yeah, it's a link. Basically that's the only way (for now) to enter for MakutaFest's Random Drawing. I wish I had posted it back on Wed, but I didn't get that chance. ENTER TODAY! : D
So for 5 days in a row, I get to wake up at 6:30 AM, catch a 7:30 AM bus, then catch a bus headed towards work and arrive at like 8:30 AM or 9 AM. So in other words, it's just like when I started working there, only now I'm expected to do stuff when I walk in. Swell.
I think I'm going to obtain ultimate geekhood soon. I'm planning to listen to all 14 Studio release Pink Floyd albums this week, during my bus rides to work and back home, without listening to (or attempting to not listen to) anything in between these periods of time. From the beginning to end, IN ORDER, regardless of how I feel about any of it. I'm also timing the morning albums to end EXACTLY when I get to work. (This is 71 minutes, by the way). I'm working on a schedule already: Piper
Seriously, given the arguments I'm hearing today, it seems the 13th doctor should be a 10 year old redheaded girl. That covers -everything- the people wanted in the Doctor right there.
So finally got off work long enough to post an entry.
So what does the Swert do from now on, you may wonder? Easy.
I work for a commercial LEGO Art studio in Tacoma. It is owned by Dan Parker, one of a handfull of LEGO Certified Professionals in the world.
I've sorted and stocked bricks and plates, I've sold minfigs, and I've plugged our parties, but my favorite part? I've been given the chance to rebuild this set.
Dan bought three of them and put three of the middle sections togethe
Of course, this is an older photo, I've since redone that black wall with an epic look (photos coming Monday night, when I go back to the shop :3) And yes, it says Swert. It is the Swert building. We sell Swerts.* *No we don't.
