Feminists hate when men open doors for them though.

 

 

I'd love to see someone tell a woman about how masculinist they are--opposed to a typical discussion of how feminist they supposedly are.

This is why I always make sure I don't enter a door at the same time as a female, except for my mom and my cat.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but don't get me started. There's enough misogyny around to not merit something more futile than the feminist movement is nowadays. The antagonistic comments stabbing at feminists in the comments of this entry are evidence enough that sexism towards women is largely seen as a joke while masculinists complain about a lack of rights.

 

But I digress, I don't want to argue with anybody, but I just figured I'd put my two cents in here. Gender is really my berserk button so I don't want to carry this on any further and don't mean to offend anybody on BZPower. I'm just commenting with my thoughts on the majority of masculinist people I know elsewhere. I won't deny there's reverse discrimination and a ton of double standards the other way but I don't think males are quite at the position to complain in society right now.

Also, I'll still open a door for a lady; you never know when the girl you might be hanging out with is really a ninja waiting to strike you while your back is turned upon entering a room before her.

Yeeeeaaaah. No. Translation: I refuse to face my own psychological issues directly. I prefer to project them onto other people to avoid the objective truth of things as they are because that would threaten the beliefs and values in which I have invested my entire sense of identity. Therefore I am compelled to keep up a stream of convoluted thought patterns and seek out like minds and opponents to feed my adversarial worldview and my perpetual need to define myself as the noble crusader when the fact of the matter is we are all just flawed human beings in a challenging world doing the best we know how.

I'm against sexism, but there are certain aspects of feminism which I hate. So if I encounter an annoying feminist, that wikipedia page will make good ammunition to put them in their place.

 

Any feminist against masculism is just a sexist in disguise.

I'm for everyone being treated the same way, regardless of their genetics.
