My family went on a trip to Disney World over New Year's week. While we were gone, a pipe in our fridge broke and we came home to a lot of water damage.
Today we're finally getting around to ripping up the damaged carpet and Pergo. The replacement flooring is really nice, like a cocoa-colored Armstrong wood flooring. I'm really excited to get shiny new floors... I'm just pooped from ripping up the old ones. XD;
It's also a wonderful 65 degrees out, and I'd rather be spending such a nice day outside in the grass or talking a walk to the park. *sigh* 
At least it will look pretty when we're done, which should be like... Monday or Tuesday.
For right now, the house smells of rubber cement and molded carpet - ick! >.<
