I agree with such a proposal.

As for songs, it's music. It happens all the time with "you and I" or "you and me" depending on what rhymes.

My dorm doesn't get BBC America either. Oh well, there are ways around it.

And yes, 30 seconds, not a huge hit. (I still should buy one, but I don't "need" it yet (like for my costume).)

Yes, I've heard plenty of mistakes pertaining to that in songs.

 

And then there's the mistake in "If I Was a Rich Girl", the remake of the Fiddler on the Roof song "If I Were a Rich Man". Technically, since it's wistful thinking, 'was' should be changed to 'were'. The original song was grammatically correct in that aspect, actually.

 

(See what I mean about being similar to the armadillo?)

That's my number 1 pet peeve.

The world does desperately need interrobangs. It would make writing that much easier.

Never heard of the Doctor Who dude, but it's a fun spinoff.

As for the first Who image, I almost did that with my prom date when I learned she liked LEGO bricks, but decided it wasn't the best idea to joke like that. Heh.
